Rooting for dak… but If dak doesn’t win anything… or fails to deliver in the playoffs. Or gets hurt….. we at least have a backup plan for the future.

Nothing is a guarantee…. But you don’t just trade away qb talent. If you’re gonna trade him I’d wait till next year. At the very least

Of course. However, since he won't be playing, we won't know if he's worth it or not. We'll have to pay and pray.

That is not correct, milton has two years left on his contract, so he can be the backup for two more years regardless of what they do with Dak... Milton might become the next joe montana 18 months from now and the decision to cut ties with Dak could be obvious... Look, what I'm saying it, Dak could get hurt and Milton may come in and pull a Dak/Romo thing..

You can if you are just extending Dak next year. That is the decision this all could effect. Your hands may be tied with a Dak extension anyway with his current contract structure. You might justs be content keeping him as your backup and letting him walk after 2027

Yes!! Milton has shown signs with Patriots, us last year somewhat, and now, consistently in camp and pre season.. I'll be honest, I'm very very intrigued by Milton, he seems like a level headed guy with some serious talent who is growing quickly with good coaching. I'll be honest, if Dak doesn't elevate the team this season when it matters, especially if the defense steps it up, I think it might be time to part ways with Dak and give the reins over to Milton. I have to say, I'm a Dak fan, but I'm realistic in my expectation on what I've seen from him, at this point in time I feel like Dak's mental makeup is a bit shaky and he does indeed fold under the bright lights, so I worry about the Dak effect in the playoffs, so until he proves otherwise, he is not a playoff dog...

I find Dak a very unique player in the fact that when things are going well, he is machine like, but that Deer in the headlights look he gets when his brain gets scrambled is worrysome.

Taking him off lets you spend on FA's and improve the roster making it a better team.
