NFL eliminating the Pro Bowl

You mean back before they were concerned about hair loss and talked about erectile dysfunction like in the 70s.

Before they became soft as the Pillsbury doughboy and greedy yes it was a great game back then.
It turned into pretty much of an embarrassment should have been gone sooner.
The players elected now should go visit children's hospitals and do charity work and give back to the fans since actually playing football would create too much of a risk for them.
.....you had me at erectile.

Perhaps it can be replaced by Conference Dance-offs, Rap battles and a Bro-down as a tie breaker.

I think Southpark has covered this rather extensively

well they said there will be 88 slots so I am not sure how much better it will be
88 sound about right.

Normally the all pro team is around 60 spots and the NFL top 100 is 100 so the day 1 pro bowl roster (which will now be the permanent roster) will be in-between both of those.

For the ProBowl, the NFL should have a yearly meet and greet for all the fans. The teams should put their best two players to come sign autographs....give something back to the fans who dont go to games but supports the NFL buying merchandise....just sayin...

Pro bowl has been an absolute joke for a very long time now. Being a "pro bowler " means nothing in my mind as it's more a popularity contest or some rando alternative player 20x deep gets it

What is the point of being a Pro Bowler if there is no Pro Bowl. lol

The only difference now is All Pro is voted by the media, Pro Bowl voted by the fans. Dump Pro "Bowl" since their is no longer a bowl game and just give it a new name that makes sense.
