I agree he skipped the steps to get where he is and that's not good. But he's been there so long now he's definitely not an amateur.

He most definitely is an amateur because he has helped produce a team that is bottom 3 of the league in terms of the last time they won a Divisional round playoff game. Just because you can't be fired from a job due to nepotism for 30 years doesn't mean you somehow become good at it especially when you help set an all time record for consecutive failure for a Director of Player Personnel. There's nobody else that ever kept that job that long with any other team in any team sport in history without getting fired long before.

Holy crap! You are the one that appears to have hurt feelings. The case you are trying make is full of exaggerations. The so-called 30 years of failure you claim is utter nonsense. There have been some very sold seasons in the past 30 years. Not winning a Super Bowl is not failure. You're an extremist if you think otherwise. Also- the east does contain a recent Super Bowl winning team in the eagles and another team that made it to the NFCCG a few years ago.

The NFC Least is wack. Winning that is like beating up on 5A high school football teams. Getting into the playoffs just to be one and done means nothing. We've seen QB1 one crap the bed when the Cowboys defense held the opposing offense to 23 points and 19 points. Offense folds like a cheap lawn chair against elite defenses.

And if the opponent has a top ten quarterback, it's definitely lights out.

No need to find it. That happened. I’d describe Stephen Jones with several words that aren’t acceptable around here.

Parcells didn’t want him in the locker room after games. Why? Ask Parcells, but there’s a reason.

Meanwhile Jerry holds court outside the locker room before anyone in the media even bothers to seek out the head coach. He sees himself as the head coach, so he doesn’t view this to be problematic for the actual head coach. Then eventually fire him because he couldn’t overcome that. Oh wait sorry….not fire, just throw away seasons and let the contract expire so you don’t have to pay a coach to not coach.

Who cares. Don't listen if one does not like it.

I used to listen to all the radio shows before I retired. Have my headphones on at work listening to everything or music.
But now I rarely listen. But since the season is about to start. I may start again.

They still have a salary cap. It is not like he can not use the money to line his pockets.
