After Allen the drafts were basically a mess post Jimmy. Only players worth their draft slot the rest of the 1990s besides him that I can remember were Randall Godfrey, Dexter Coakley, Greg Ellis, Flozell Adams, and Dat Nguyen.

Mazi may be the worst draft pick I have ever seen the team make.

I still may lean Taco though. He was a better player than Mazi but we gave up on selecting a top pass rusher for him.

Bobby Carpenter was a hum dinger but Mazi is right up there. What about all the bums drafted in the 2nd round?

Those dline edge freakin scouts couldn't nail a legit college edge or DT presence if their life depended on it.
None of the above got 2nd contracts.

And the oline draft guys who "had" nailed 4 in a row 1st rounders are now on the decline as well.

I just don't think Mazi was used right. You don't go that high in the draft if you don't have talent.
