TRADED Cowboys trade for OT Broderick Jones

One example of it working. And they still haven't signed him. Even when it works we find a way to muck it up.

All the others were traded for simply because Jerry remembered their names.

It's a risk, and not a smart one, and will most likely fail. Fair to expect that, considering their history doing the exact same thing and getting the exact same results.
oh please ****.

I have no idea what expletive you've chosen here because none make sense with the first part.

Look, I am thrilled with our offseason. I think we are going to do well this year. But I hate sending a premium draft pick for a player that has failed and is coming off a major injury. It's silly that hurts your feelings.

Want to improve the team? Package that premium pick with another and go get a difference maker. Not a swing tackle that might be the same player you're trying to replace.

The jury is still out on him. He sits on ps this year spends an offseason getting stronger, then we'll have a better grip on him. NFL has a development problem, and fans have a patience problem.
That would be horrible.

We would be trading some of our scarce draft capital, in a loaded draft, to rent a practice squad player who’s a year away from contributing, and will be an unrestricted free agent as soon as this season ends

I about crapped my pants thinking we were giving up 3rd, 4th and 6th round picks.....

Liked this kid out of Georgia a lot.....ALWAYS thought the Steelers were making a mistake moving him from right tackle to left tackle. And the results show for themselves. Concerned about the neck injury...that he may have come back too early.....there was huge pressure in Pittsburgh to get him back on the field.

Like the trade.....Will be interesting to see how the other tackles work out now....Will be interesting to see how they view Jones....Is he the new swing tackle???? Or does he push Steele to the bench? Does this mean we are gonna carry 4 tackles????

LT-Guyton/Shelton
RT-Steele/Jones

Or Is Nate Thomas the left tackle insurance if we keep 4?
I think Thomas is still on the team. Of course, we could decide to give up on him after his showing this preseason. It will be interesting to see with him and Shelton.

An example of getting one of the best players in the league currently.

somewhat of a costly trade for missing on the draft, I.e. Shelton.
I don't consider Shelton a miss yet. We knew getting in the fourth round that he would be a project. Let's see how he develops. Fans expect too much out of third-day picks.
