So after a relatively positive off-season, training camp, pre-season schedule, and now roster cuts (so far) what level of trust for this organization do you have?

High, medium, low or zero?

Please vote and say why you voted that way. Everyone be respectful of each other. It’s ok to disagree without attacking people.

I voted LOW trust. I like some things I e seen this off-season. Like less drama, Caleb Downs, Chris Parker, the new defensive scheme. But for me it will take a lot more than a positive off-season to trust this organization.

Until they prove something, my trust is low.
Really, really low trust in the Cowboys. Show me, don't tell me. I have zero excitement about the upcoming season. Curiosity is the best way I can describe myself. But I'm not curious enough to watch week in and week out. I'll check out the highlight videos after the games end on Sunday. That's the level of my "commitment", if you can even call it that, to the Cowboys.

He definitely looks more like Skeletor each passing day.

C'mon man. The guy in 84 years old. What do you expect him to look like.

Highest my faith has been in decades. I love the team being composed of hard workers who play the right way as a team, with discipline. We let some talented players go, players who can’t be trusted to do the right things to win the games.

That said, the defense is still a work in progress. All the answers were not found in this one offseason. The OL is still a concern. Bebee needs to take a big jump this year to be more than average. The OT spots and depth is tenuous.

Making the playoffs this year would be a huge step in the right direction, but realistically, it may not happen. This can be a successful season even if we don’t make the playoffs. The coaches and team need to stay on this path with this culture and approach to team building. If they do, we will get there. Winning and losing has a very fine line in the NFL. I think we got rid of some guys that are talented but whom I expect to make the losing mistake at the critical moment.

B-

By some other franchise’s norms, what the Cowboys did this offseason was simply standard practice.

That’s what it should be — but it hasn’t been the standard for this organisation, for a long time.

You can say both ‘they’re not there yet, and need to keep raising their game’, and, ‘they made more of an effort than usual, and they’ve given me reasonable grounds for hope.’

So I’m encouraged to begin to trust, but I definitely need to see something concrete in games in order to sustain that trust.

But you’ve seen the player acquisition, seen the coaching, etc. Where is your trust based on what you’ve seen this year as compared to the past?

Don’t actions prove anything, at least partially? Most teams takes several years of this commitment to build a really good team. We are only one year in, and we need more of the same going forward. I don’t expect this team to win the division, maybe even not make the playoffs. But I trust that I’m going to see something much better this year, something to continue to build upon.

Son, I'm not new around here. Zero-Trust isn't just a Network Architecture. (ZTNA) It's a complete lack of faith in Jerry Jones' leadership!

Don’t live in the past
Keep moving forward, 1 foot in front of the other
But you don’t get my complete approval ,until you prove you deserve it .
I’m going with C

It’s all you can do is go backwards, in that case it’s a big fat, F lol

Stanback stated earlier today on Talkin' Cowboys, every Tuesday, the Cowboys invite free agents to come in and workout, so a roster spot is never guaranteed in DAL.
Neither is consistency or the assurance that we won't have several penalties in the red zone

This has been a good offseason but im not expecting a good season. I never buy into any hype with the cowboys. We will see what they do. It'll be a good building year for the coaches and the defense.

I don’t know how to answer. :)

I like most of the decisions being made, trust the coaches and appreciate what I see as meaningful culture changes, but that doesn’t mean I think it will show in the playoffs. There are 31 other teams out there, our schedule is rough, and our defensive talent is below average.

I also see “Trust” and “Confidence” (particularly in results) as different things.

Confidence:
Coaching: Medium
Front office: Low

Trust:
Coaching: High
Front office: Zero

Trust the organization to do what?

To compete for a championship, no absolutely not.
To do just enough to make the playoffs or make changes to make the playoffs next year...yes

Coogs, I agree that is a good thing. But in my book until we WIN something with these new players, it’s hard to know “things are different.”
Right. Whatever process many are All In on this offseason has to deliver successful results at some point. And successful results means beyond anything we’ve seen this era.

i have no faith in this management at all the last thirty years and counting has ruined my faith in this ownership.

Some fans seem to be happy with the fact we’ve addressed much needed issues on defense which should enable us enough to return to playoffs.

And for a dysfunctional franchise this Century which has only made playoffs 10 out of 25 years, I guess we have to be more pleased than usual. .

Like Couch Coach said it’s better to have meaningful games than not. I agree. It’s pretty much what this franchise has been reduced to.

So , if we have done enough to return to playoffs I’d have to be more approving than not.
