Good movies.... well, all except for Jarhead. Those movies were stupid. Hope you've been enjoying Unicorn Academy. My granddaughter loves that show.
LMAO!! I like that. I give it but I can take it too. I didn't even know about that show. I looked it up. Thank you. That's right up my alley. War movies is my favorite movie genre with kid's style movies being my second. Since all my kids are gone with no grandkids, I'll have to watch it by myself. I still watch Blue Clues even though I have no little kids around. Lol

Yeah Jarhead is my least favorite. I guess it has too much Hollyweird appeal for me. The other ones feel like a Marine produced it.
Twice? We've been fooled 30 straight years. Well, at least the kool-aide drinkers have been fooled 30 straight times

Brother I've drank so much Kool-Aid since the draft; I'm now borderline diabetic. After going 20-0 it will be worth it.

GO COWBOYS! :star:

Kev, I like some of our roster additions, Chris Parker and his scheme, the quieter off-season. Enough to “believe” before a single down has been played? No. I will believe when it happens.

I respect you and your opinions a lot my friend. We’ve discussed for years how badly this team needed some girth upfront on defense. And yes I am glad we have Q-Williams and several other additions to this defense. This team IS more talented for sure.

But it takes a whole team and an organization that has leadership and a vision they stick to. I’m in no way convinced this FO has a cohesive plan at all. Put another way, if they do, it’s probably an accident, lol.

I hope for the best. But it’s going to take a helluva lot more than a positive off-season to get me to say I trust this organization. And as always I could always be dead wrong!
The thing is we can wear both hats .

One is we have witnessed the upgrades on defensive roster and can be pleased finally addressing some of the concerns we’ve had which translates into higher hopes heading into the season.

But we still can be hesitant with our history this era to be gun-shy expecting anything beyond the success we’ve had. Nothing wrong with wanting to wait and see how it develops , how good it becomes and impacts it makes.

It serves no purpose to totally buy in or believe we have a championship caliber team in August.

I don't trust anyone involved in sports, period. It's all about the me in team. You start trusting, you start losing and/or just become miserable. Screw Jerry and the rest of them. Make a great catch, and go half speed the next play. IIWII

Before I quit drinking, I'd put 4 shots of Grey Goose in my Yeti and then filled it up with ice a grape Kool Aid. Or as I call it Gatorade zero

So after a relatively positive off-season, training camp, pre-season schedule, and now roster cuts (so far) what level of trust for this organization do you have?

High, medium, low or zero?

Please vote and say why you voted that way. Everyone be respectful of each other. It’s ok to disagree without attacking people.

I voted LOW trust. I like some things I’ve seen this off-season. Like less drama, Caleb Downs, Chris Parker, the new defensive scheme. But for me it will take a lot more than a positive off-season to trust this organization.

Until they prove something, my trust is low.
I was torn between the first two options and ultimately I decided to go with the highest confidence. I believe that this organization is on the right track.

You can’t simply go by results. Wins and losses only. Injuries, poor officiating, luck, all plays a part too.

The question is whether or not the team is making solid decisions? I believe they are. They deserve credit for that, win or lose.

We all know that hasn’t consistently been the case since 1995.

I'll have to admit, I'm positive, to some extent, by this team's readiness to make trades.
I'm always prepared to watch my team closely to determine what to expect, given time. :starspin:
My expectations are usually held at arm's length. I'm ready to see wins -- that's for sure.

I agree with you. But for some fans here, they are willing to buy in with much lower levels of proof required. I’m not offended by their blustery hope.

But those of us who need more than a good off-season to “believe” should be understood and accepted as well.

Jerral and company lost my trust a long time ago. He doesn't care about winning on the field, only his bank account.

The last 2 days have really burned what trust was built up in the off season...What the hell are they doing @ QB...RB....OL....CB???? I mean teams that are getting ready for the season don't make panic moves a week before the season looking for starters. Not a solid way to go into a season.

I like some of the upgrades. It's about time they started focusing on the defense. Still don't trust them though until they actually can win a divisional playoff game. They're probably a playoff team. They might even win the division but we've been that before..

I voted C. Saturday would have been a B or maybe an A. But I don’t like the trade for Thomas and I’m disappointed in the Milton release. I think we could have gotten some Ts without paying draft capital if we waited 24 hours.

I’m confused again about what they are thinking. They trade for an OT that has been playing bad but has a high ceiling. Then they release a QB that had a good preseason with a high ceiling and kept a QB that has reached his ceiling.

So we’re going to roll the dice on an underachieving OT with a high ceiling but turn around and cut a QB with a ceiling who shown progression between this year and last year. If you’re going to gamble, gamble with the QB position. Again I’m confused of the thinking.

Yep. I was feeling great Saturday. Now not so great and feeling the old “what are we doing” vibes.

I'll go B. I like what the coaches are doing. I like the coaching staff. I like most of the moves. I have some questions about the Jones trade. But, otherwise, I'm encouraged by what I'm seeing. Not really seeing a SB team yet, but I think they can make the NFCC if they stay healthy
