OchoCinco insinuates Cowboys catered to Dak's ego by cutting Joe Milton

The way this podcast was boasting Milton in the preseason, you would expect this type of reaction from them.

I agree Milton belongs on a roster in the NFL but unfortunately its not with the Cowboys this year. Maybe he signs with another team or maybe he get back on our practice squad, who knows.

I wish Milton the best, but let's not act like we (Cowboys fans) were frustrated with Milton at times when giving opportunities last year.

The problem is casual and/or uninformed fans will listen to this and believe it.

Shows like this cater to people that lack critical thinking skills and take everything on TV or the internet at face value.

I totally disagree with Johnson. Milton sealed his fate when he missed the wide-open tight end in the middle of the field with no pressure. It was a layup, and those are the plays that can seal your fate.

Same thing with Sam Williams failing to set the edge on the first Saints TD. Same with Blue fumbling early in camp. These little things matter. Coaches notice them, and when you’re fighting for a roster spot, you can’t afford to repeatedly make those kinds of mistakes.

Some players simply don’t seem to take those moments seriously enough, and in the NFL, those mistakes can cost you your job.

I watched this in context. Yes, he floated a dumb theory as even I don't think this was why they released Milton.

I do, however, think that the fantasy that "we have Dak" and "we're good at QB" did have something to do with it...but not that Dak's ego is fragile. Dak's command of the playbook and lockerroom are light years beyond Milton.

So if one good preseason game means he was on Dak's level, then Howell is just as good as any starting QB, too. So one of them had to go, right Chud?

Milton is no threat to Dak.

That said, he's not signed at this point because he has to pass through waivers first, which is 24 hours, or about 22 1/2 hours ago.

Thats fair. I was more of less joking to have a swipe at 85, but still. I'd love to actually have him on our PS

Howell is simply better as a complete quarterback. Why can't they see that?

Dallas had to pony up some money and guarantee it to win his services in free agency. Other teams were interested.

Milton, not so much. He's likely going to be back as a Cowboy PS player in a few hours.

Listening to that, I can't tell who the bigger idiot is. Shannon Sharp or Chad Johnson.
Sharp by a mile. He can't talk without yelling, and it sounds like he has marbles in his mouth when doing so. Instant channel change, or refusal to click link.
