OchoCinco insinuates Cowboys catered to Dak's ego by cutting Joe Milton

I totally disagree with Johnson. Milton sealed his fate when he missed the wide-open tight end in the middle of the field with no pressure. It was a layup, and those are the plays that can seal your fate.

Same thing with Sam Williams failing to set the edge on the first Saints TD. Same with Blue fumbling early in camp. These little things matter. Coaches notice them, and when you’re fighting for a roster spot, you can’t afford to repeatedly make those kinds of mistakes.

Some players simply don’t seem to take those moments seriously enough, and in the NFL, those mistakes can cost you your job.
Blue fumbling in camp? Malik fumbled during a preseason game, yet nothing bad happened to him. Not a good example.

Cutting Joe Milton from the roster, may have been about placating Dak Prescott for the Dak Prescott, argues one legendary WR.

NFL teams officially made cutdowns to finalize their 53-man roster for the start of the season. But for some teams, transactions aren’t over yet, as organizations continue to tinker with the final roster.

The Dallas Cowboys were one such team. Taking three quarterbacks into the season, they shockingly cut Joe Milton soon afterwards.

The move came as a surprise, given the undeniable upside with Milton, but one legend believes the move was made in service of Dak Prescott.

Dumbest thing I ever heard. What a complete Joke from those two head cases.

makes no sense. just click bait..

Dak never worried about Milton.
perhaps Dak thinks Howell is a better back up in case of injury. which he wouldn't be wrong.

losing Milton is not a shock.... bit of a surprise, but not a shock. he is another Trey Lance. scrambling ability. pretty spiral. can't read a defense. not very accurate.

He’s a yapper, that is what he does. YAP!! With those big ah teeth. lol

There are lots of Cowboys' haters to be found. We've just uncovered two of them! :muttley:

I believe it 100%- a career loser like Prescott wants to protect every minute he gets on the field.
