Cowboys Team Retreat in Utah

Lamb is our 2nd oldest Cowboy on offense. Crazy to think it wasn't too long ago when Smith, Martin, etc. were here. Now its Dak and then Lamb.

I don't know what the Cowboys plan is with Pickens. I suspect he will eventually leave and when he does its going to kill the locker room. ITs clear they love him.

If Pickens plays like I think he will this season, maybe Dallas will find a way to keep him.

I love the guy too, and there isn’t another WR in the league as good at locating and catching the ball in just about every situation.

I just don't know what they are doing. Maybe its above my paygrade maybe its some financials they are holding off of. Maybe there's a method to the madnesss but its hard for me to understand why wait for him to do what we all sort of feel he's going to do? He's going to dominate again. Either he dominates or he sucks and we let him walk. Does anyone see him sucking? I don't know I just don't understand it. I'm a fan of his. Through the good and bad. Always was.

Him playing on the tag with no guarantees of the future....it show she bought in. I would never do it. I don't think many would. What ever reputation he had should be washed away after what he's doing now.

To me the plan is a second tag, which will buy them time to either sign him long term or trade him for premium picks.

I agree. The only reason I can see for him playing on the tag is just to show one more year of his maturity.

I’m with you in that how he is handling the franchise tag should be exhibit #1 in how much he’s matured.

Speaking for myself, I absolutely want him on a long term contract in Dallas. The last guy I remember scaring DB’s like Pickens was Moss. He catches almost everything.

Anyway, if he has the year I expect after doing all he’s done on the tag (never even missed a practice) then I think he would have more than earned a long term contract here. He will deserve it.

Yea he is clearly loved in that locker room.

When did this happen? That looks like they had a great time together. I'm glad to see the core offense taking time to bond and establish deeper relationships. This will build trust and cohesiveness as a unit.

At some point over the summer.

I suspect that Pickens isn't leaving.
