Lol
I thought the plan was to keep Jerruh distracted and out of the way.Hmm, is Jerry focused on the right things?
Translation…you can’t fix stupid.Focused on the wrong things?
??????
The Cowboys want him.No one wanted him.
Apparently, he was focused on keeping his job while he should have been focused on losing it.That doesn't give me any information on why he was cut. He was focused on the wrong things? That's vague and meaningless.
That was 39 years agoWhy do some people think Sam Howell has a weak arm ? He threw the ball 59mph at the combine. Hardly weak
Lol. Right. He was focused on hitting WRs in stride for a TD unlike last year when he couldn't complete a pass.Apparently, he was focused on keeping his job while he should have been focused on losing it.
Much better preseason by him. Even though he had a couple of hiccups in the last game, I thought he deserved his spot. Apparently, teams are too unsure that he'll ever live up to his potential. A few preseason performances don't tell us that.Lol. Right. He was focused on hitting WRs in stride for a TD unlike last year when he couldn't complete a pass.
Curious, were you also a fan of Phenom Trance?Lol. Right. He was focused on hitting WRs in stride for a TD unlike last year when he couldn't complete a pass.
I am.Curious, were you also a fan of Phenom Trance?
Yes. Very much so. Well kind of. I'm a fan of having a solid QB2 that can come in and win games if Dak goes down and then having a raw high ceiling prospect as QB3. So to say that I was a fan of Trey would be yes because he was a Cowboy and yes because he was that raw QB3 that could be developed.Curious, were you also a fan of Phenom Trance?
Unfortunately neither one of them developed very much.Yes. Very much so. Well kind of. I'm a fan of having a solid QB2 that can come in and win games if Dak goes down and then having a raw high ceiling prospect as QB3. So to say that I was a fan of Trey would be yes because he was a Cowboy and yes because he was that raw QB3 that could be developed.
I'm a fan of the Green Bay/San Fransciso method of having a QB2 or QB3 being a guy that could take over when franchise guy retires. Montana had Young, Favre had Rodgers, Rodgers had Love, etc. Even Aikman had Walsh. I like that model of QB development.
So I don't care if it's Trey or Joe, I want someone on the roster or PS that is a developing QB. I'd rather do it that way than completely bottom out as a franchise and pick a guy with the #1 pick. There's no guarantee that the top prospect in college will develop into a good pro and there's no guarantee that a guy who struggled in college won't be a franchise guy. I like the development model as opposed to the bottom out as a franchise and pick top 5 model. It's less risky IMO
How else is going to learn how to read a defense?Last time I heard the phrase "He was focused on the wrong things." used on a QB was for Kyler Murray. He supposedly was more focused on playing video games all night than watching film. Maybe bazooka Joe is the same.
