Miller says he's 90 percent sure he'll be No. 40

It is difficult understanding how anyone would not cave for a lifetime of free chicken. Ask any turkey (or Chick Fil A cow) and they would say you would be crazy not taking that deal.
I mean equity in his company is weird more than chicken for life he can buy his own chicken with that. Smart guy.

Leupke studied business and finance at North Dakota State.

Hes too economicaly astute too turn down a lifetime supply of chicken gizzards, necks and feet over a jersey number.
He did turn down the lifetime supply in favor of equity in the chicken company.

Yeah, Miller talked about 2 percent being worth $100,000 a year. He apparently didn't give him that much (if that's what the deal is), but even if it's a fourth of that, $25,000 a year is better than chicken for life ... unless you are going to eat a whole bunch of chicken.

Yeah I was thinking less than a percent but that still is solid. 25k extra a year for a number is great money. Smart guy.

So using some simple maths Miller is doing $5m per year it would seem. How many years does he collect on this payout, can’t be in perpetuity.

Realistic observations are ruining all the good chicken jokes.
