81bSo if Hudson is 81 then what is Mingo now?
Only eligible receiver numbers left for him are 11, 18, and 84, was 1 in college at Ole Miss so maybe 11 is an option for him? Not sure.So if Hudson is 81 then what is Mingo now?

Traded. So if Hudson is 81 then what is Mingo now?
I heard that because Hudson is on the practice squad, it's not as strict, unless Hudson goes to the 53.So if Hudson is 81 then what is Mingo now?
Meh with the 90+ players in camp except for the established vets that that are expected to make the team you get a lot of weird numbering, take into account "sacred numbers" Dallas has had to grant sacred numbers to players not in the position group that number is known for. if you are some UDFA or 7th Rd pick you get what is left. I do not blame guy wanting a new number once he makes the team. All these number changes produce marketing chaos when it comes to selling jerseys.
Jersey numbers used to be selected by the team and not the player.
The Cowboys used a strict number system and there was very little deviation.
For example, only LBs and Centers wore numbers in the 50s. The only exception was Randy White but that was because they had originally planned to use him as a MLB.
That was actually a league-wide rule that started in the late 70’s and was only changed to the more current system in 2021.All these number changes produce marketing chaos when it comes to selling jerseys.
