Read above the post that clarifies and explains that by the time the blood was drawn, hours later, that if the blood had been drawn the first hour, the BAC would have been even higher.

Romo pled no contest, so the other charges were dropped. And because they were dropped, I doubt we will get to see the dashcam video showing Romo's illegal lane change (while he was buzzed.) Also, we will not get to hear sworn testimony from the bartenders that served Tony multiple drinks that afternoon.

Hey, have you ever heard the PSA that "Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving."

Romo has an alcohol abuse problem. A classic sign of this problem is lying about it. Romo lied to the Officer. Driving is Not a Constitutional Right. It is a Licensed privilege.

How about if we start with the thing that was abused first his back playing NFL football.

HE GOT TREATMENT IN THE FORM OF SURGERIES IT DIDN'T WORK.

He got help in the form of painkillers that probably started to turn him into a junkie it didn't work.

So as he said in his statement he turned to alcohol for relief from the pain and basically became a functioning alcoholic.

So after I read all these posts saying I hope he gets help with his alcohol problem does anybody think there might not be an alcohol problem if somebody could fix the back problem.

Back pain is something that leaves you helpless like you're in a torture chamber if you haven't had it you don't understand.

Tony has probably lived this way for years getting by the best he could but it was only a matter of time before he got caught.

My opinion fixing the back problem would be the first thing so there wouldn't be a need to depend on painkillers or alcohol.

I have a friend vice president of a big company and he was drunk for 30 years nobody was the wiser met with people everyday was in charge of all the maintenance contractors.

When you have severe back problems pain management becomes an art form.

The effect of alcohol is very different from case to case depending on the usage and length of time it's been used.

Don't drink alcohol myself at all but I have a lot of Irish friends that imbibe furiously and it has been a true education

He thought he was in a little safer spot than he was got a little cocky impatient tried to make a suspect pass and the wheels came off the wagon.

Otherwise he would have rode to his grandparents drunk and probably done it again the next day.

The guy is a competitor his competitive nature still drives him to a degree and no doubt at times he will push himself through the pain to try and compete because it gives him a little piece of the feeling that he had when he played football.

Circumstances alter cases and Tony didn't look double the limit drunk at the sobriety test just looked like he'd been out in the sun all day.
