Jesse Holley preaches this every summer. On his podcast and when he gets called in to make a speech to the rookies. He says check your ego and do what you got to do. It’s no excuse for nobody to not be decent at special teams. It’s hard work but it’s work and it can keep you in the nfl for a long time. Ask Cj Goodwyn
