At the end, you see Will McClay giving Eze a hard time saying he didn’t know Boston College students could read.

McClay graduated from Rice and both schools are “hidden ivies” in that they are extremely prestigious and academjy elite but not one of the actual eight Ivy League schools.

I did a little searching and found that Eze was definitely focused on life after football when he enrolled. He was only a three star recruit so didn’t get scholarship offers from powerhouse football factories, so he focused on schools with elite academics.

The eight Ivy League schools aren’t allowed to offer scholarships but Eze was on track to acceptance at both Harvard and Princeton. He could have gotten student aid but not a full ride.

He did get scholarship offers from other prestigious schools, including Holy Cross, and Vanderbilt, but settled on Boston College

Pretty impressive.

We got a hidden Ivy up her. University of Rochester. Medical School is on par with John Hopkins. Massive impact locally. Rochester NY is one of the best places in the world to get sick
