Yeah I'd clearly would be on that list, I mean having George here helped, but in the past, 3 and out was easy for us, you knew it was coming. Flag on the play now it's 3rd and 12, WE'RE GETTING READY TO PUNT!! , cowboys 4th and 9, 3 yard safe pass to the TE because of heavy pressure

Imagine trying to dig deep into the well to find something to degrade the offense for.

Was it the defense or wasn't it the defense responsible for blowing games where we scored 26, 27, 40, and 30 points? 11-6 offense goes down to 7-9-1 with that defense.

It wasn't a good team but it was a good offense paired with a historically bad defense

Three of the bottom five were division winners, while five of the top ten missed the playoffs. This stat needs a deeper dive. I’m fairly sure the Eagles led the league in running plays in 3rd and 7+ yards to go. Patullo must be the Matt Eberflus of offense.

I agree, but everyone’s offense disappears against better teams, that’s why it takes the three aspects.

Yes, we need to improve in a lot of areas, I totally agree with that if we’re going to make a run for the big game

Just so everyone is aware, if you check the graphic, it's not all drives. It's a pretty specific carveout. I wonder what the sample size is for each team

It could also mean that those end of half drives are excluded from the entire data set. The wording is not clear. After spending 30+ years in the legal field, I know how much wording matters.

I saw this on Reddit yesterday and it was created by a fan cherry picking data to make a misleading argument.

What they want you to think is that the Cowboys are an unstoppable offensive machine that marches down the field and is best in the league on third down.

Leaving out all drives under four plays is blatant data manipulation. It leaves out quick scoring drives. It leaves out any drives with turnovers on downs 1-3.

It's funny how a custom filter completely reverses reality.

The Niners, who this chart bumps down to 2nd, are actually the real #1 team in the league at 49.8%. This filter literally takes the actual #10 team (cowboys) and flips them over the real #1 team

The Cowboys are also 17th in the league at red zone touchdown percentage (56.9%) which is one of the challenges last year that kept our offense from being truly elite. We stalled in the redzone and either kicked field goals, failed on fourth down or turned the ball over way more often than our overall yardage and scoring numbers might lead you to believe.

Also, this was almost certainly made by a fan using AI and not even using it well

Where are 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 23, 25, 26, 28, 29, and 31?

It takes out all drives where a team at the end of the half or game is simply trying to run out the clock. That might be the intent. Maybe the creator didn't want to take the time to sort out all those plays.
