Your Oline now has Booker as the far and away best player. This is a big yikes

Booker, Beebe and Bass are all solid players on the interior. Steele and Guyton are the weaker links though if I am to believe the team, Guyton is looking improved. Either way, an injury on the interior is manageable while it would have been much more difficult at tackle. It could have been much worse.

Sucks to hear that, but if Bass can fill for him, why don't he permenantly take over right tackle when the entire line is intact?

Hope to get him back for the Texans game. Milestone game imo.

I think Beebe is a decent center, but not on Booker’s level. Bass may come in and be fine but he is no Tyler Smith

That combination is probably not a top 20 Oline; we’d need to work through the teams to see if it’s even top 25. Against the Giants Dline it will be really interesting to see just how far Guyton and Bass has developed.

Don’t get me wrong, I still think you’ll whoop them, but Tyler may miss a stretch of 4 straight really good teams after

In over 1000 career NFL snaps, TJ Bass has allowed just 16 pressures and two sacks.

He's as good a backup guard as you're going to get. The season isn't falling apart over this and Smith will be back.

Run game will suffer. Dak will need to be quicker on his release. Or needs a hot route or check down guy. Long passing game will be effected. Unless Bass plays better than expected.

This has probably been an issue for Smith for a while. He probably tried to practice through it last week and he and the trainers decided it wasn't going to work.

When did it happen? Well Bass didn't play the last two preseason games which is unusual for a backup. Dallas has been preparing for this; at least I think they were.
