These guys have to earn their place just like the teams do.

He has been a ref since 2008 so that is a lot of digging. I can tell you Cheffers' crews have historically been high-penalty crews. In 2025, his crew called 234 penalties during the regular season, second-most in the league. I'm not sure what means for our game Sunday night. But Schotty needs to let the guys know it could be called pretty tight.
