Morning Mafia

The RAMS had jet lag, they were sleepwalking,
Their coaches not going to let them believe in any hype .
They’re definitely a contender, but they definitely overrated
That is exactly what I am saying. Their HC is cocky and thinks this is a 1 off game, and no biggie if they have a no show. Are they overrated? Not basing their success on one mismanaged game, and the 9ers cannot be taken lightly as long as they are healthy

I think the team, with the most starters still standing, should automatically win the Super Bowl lol
Neither have the giant though
The rams are overrated, and the Giants suck .
Lol
But still, it’s a division game. I can’t wait.
Not sure the Giants suck; they are moving in the right direction. That said, they have question marks on their offence in terms of health and that things in between their shoulders

I’m not sure either, but I live in New England and I’m not going to give them any love lol

Their HC is an arrogant; you know what. QB and RB1 will have short careers due to stupidity....but, but their D is legit as legit right now. If they stay healthy and develop their offence, wellllll. That said, I can't stand any NFC East team, but can be objective, lol

Their defensive line is fast and interchangeable, that’s the strength of their team yes

I went down a little bit of a rabbit hole after Tyler 73 went down. Will we still be able to dominate their weak interior DL and get to their very very good LBer corps? Will their Edge guys abuse our OTs? Did our defense really improve as much as we are hoping? We really need a big jump against both the run and the pass. The Giants OL should be much better and they have some good skill guys, so we may get tested in both facets. I still like our chances but I'm not as confident as I have been all offseason. But, I am so pumped to see this new defense. I haven't been this excited about a season in a while. :starspin:

I honestly don't know what to expect based on our history and what I consider the X factor and that is Harbaugh... He is a very tough minded coach and we know history tells us our boys fold when facing tougher coaching. However, history also tells us we typically whip the Giants, but if I'm being honest, I'm still kind of waiting for the shoe to drop, because I know how much we can guzzle kookaid in loser land..

Who is this Mafia the OP is referring to? Or is it something where if you tell me you'll have to break both my legs or something?

Dak does own the Gents. But this is the first real HC they had since Coughlin. While I don’t think Harbaugh is all that great he does bring experience and belief. Especially to a team that has been lacking it for a decade.

Jaxson Dart looks the part but I was not impressed with him against our paltry defense in the final game last season.

We should win this game but it’s a division game on the road so anything can happen.
I don't think either team was trying all that hard to win the final game last season and it showed. :muttley:

The 49ers arrived a few days early, while them Rams arrived the day before (for a morning game the next day).

Morning Mafia is from a long time ago way back in the DC.com days. You were either in my Morning Mafia fan group or a Village Idiot.

49ers showed two days earlier , and I’m not saying that’s an excuse, but you could tell they were sleepwalking, they just didn’t have the same energy
And I don’t care who won that game
At least there won't be a massive time difference for the Cowboys when they play in Brazil week four.

The 9ers/Rams game should give every team a heads-up, and as always, Week 1 surprises will be a thing.
That is generally true but in that game coaching made the difference.

Kyle Shanahan has been gameplanning for the best defensive player in the NFL and deballed him with a masterclass in offensive coaching.

Anything can happen but the Rams offense was neutered by a superior game plan......can Shoddy outcoach Harbaugh on Sunday?
