Twitter: Malik Davis receiving hip surgery on Saturday

I'm thinking they just call up Abanikanda and then sign a vet or maybe Mafah to the practice squad.

Feel really bad for Davis.
I think so also.Izzy been through TC and knows the playbook.
I think he would have made the 53, but it was a numbers game he got caught up in. Plus the RB they claimed from waivers.

I’m not convinced of that. I’ve seen Davis play a lot and know how good he is and he’s pretty good. Emari’s been here like two weeks
Ive followed him a bit more than you'd expect for a non star type player because of fantasy and hes always been pretty good when given the opportunity. His measurables look solid and he seems like he fits the bill. I could be way off though.

Plus Clayton Adams coached him and I imagine advocated for bringing him in.

I think it is you that are Stevie Wonder since Blue signed with the Eagkes.
The Cowboys could sign Blue off of the Eagles practice squad, but they aren't going to do so. They already have the new guy that they claimed on the roster and Izzy on the practice squad.

I would look at Mos; when he's healthy, he is a beast and wouldn't be needed to carry a load here. Javonte goes down, season is over
He was a beast for sure. Have to think if he had much left he would be backing up someone already though.

For those of us that watched Bo Jackson, hip injuries are scary.
I know it's not the same but...I had hip replacement a few years ago. Doc said the metal will be great...the success of the surgery depends on me getting the rest of the hip and leg to keep up with it. They had me up the next morning.

Medical/rehab has come along way since Bo jackson. Let's hope for the best for him.
