sure the rest of the team matters. But in a salary cap world, most of the teams from player 2-40 are pretty similar. So yes, that qb tips the scales and should be the difference between 7-10, and 10-7 or better.

we have been blessed. Romo was VERY GOOD.Dakis VERY GOOD, but it is simple. If you dont win a SB you are called a failure. The NFL is relentless. In the age of salary caps to make teams equal, if you dont win 12-13 games every year, yousuck. Lamar is a 2 time MVP, but if he never wins the big one... he will be remembered as a loser.

I feel where you're coming from, but there are quarterbacks who made it to the HOF and never won a Superbowl.

Yeah but A Rog famously said that he is so competitive that he hates it when other QBs are successful (he never liked Favre either.. and vice versa).

So him "being a big fan of Dak" is kind of a backhanded sign of disrespect. He just sees him as a safe, squishy, non threatening beta

I never heard him say that about Brady, Manning, or Breese.

Well not that they ever deserved it, but none of those guys received the level of disrespect that Dak does.. People act like Dak's not even a 'good' QB. Like he's a bum.

The only other guy I can think of that plays as well as Dak does and got the same disrespect was of course, Tony Romo.
