Could he make us regret giving up the Packers pick? His receivers had a rough first half against the OSU, but settled in during the second half. He had some nice zip on the ball with very good placement. He can also run way better than his uncles.

Kid has so much pressure on him it’s unimaginable. Lucky for him, he’s got 3 Mannings (1 a HOF’er) to help guide him and he’s able to bounce back from the early game jitters. Once he starts getting comfortable again (it’s a new team with all the transfers) he’s going to take off.

Another example of you never ever give up.

good? He finally woke up and calmed down. Sarks play calling in the first 3 quarters was dog awful. How many datgum bubble screens do you run before you realize it aint workin?!!!! Play calling improved in the 4th quarter and so did the QB play. Nice win but I wouldn't call Manning good. He's a work in progress still and the win might help in his development and confidence. This was a true team win. Its something to build on. If we see him stack up full games where he plays sharp, calm cool, collected, THEN we might have something. He's in no way a top 10 draft pick. He was a deer in headlights for 3 quarters. As were many of his teammates. The magnitude of this game looked too big for him. Then he settled down late, the HC settled into plays that actually worked, and found a weakness in Ohio states D. Proud of the entire team for never quitting. Overcame self-inflicted wounds, flags, and bad coaching & QB play. Manning looked like a different player in the 4th. Crazy what confidence and good play calling can do.

That was the kinda game that can ease the pressure of being the next anointed Manning and help his game get to the next level. Still not sold on all the hype, but that comeback shows a lot of heart.

He is still overrated. Given the strength of next years draft, if he doesn't improve, he won't be taken early. He made some bad throws last night.

He will be taken early based of his name alone ....... and he has looked pretty good lately.

No.

He showed what he always shows. Inconsistency. Looked mediocre at times and good at times.

He’s yet to show me he’s worthy of the top QB hype.
