I hope to see a disciplined team take the field this evening - the one that isn't the New York Football Giants.

All the offseason work, moves, strategizing, etc. won't mean squat if we see a bunch of stupid penalties and/or turnovers.

I live in central New York State, where most used to be Giants fans. These days, hardly anyone admits it...the Bills bandwagon is filling up fast.

Nevertheless, the Cowboys administering a hard spanking in East Rutherford tonight would be a great way to start the season. Cheers!

Keep things in perspective.

We had the 30th worst defense in the league last year. Yes, we've added some nice pieces and a new DC but patience may be required.

Patience? On this board? Are you feeling okay?

In week 1 NFL defenses are giving up gobs of yards and points so it could be ugly.

Chicago had near 300 yards rushing. Thats crazy.

Several more weeks into the season we should be able to get a more realistic gauge on the defense

I really hope we don't hold back and just run, run, run. Be aggressive and throw the ball on these guys. That's how we'll win.

I had to look this up because here in Texas potatoes boiled in salty water is common.

I guess I’ve never had potatoes boiled in an actual brine.

I get what they are saying though. Too many times over the years were hyped up and we come out and play sloppy football. The giants aren't going to be an easy game at all. They are much improved... but I want to see us play mistake free football. Come out sharp for once. If not to me it's more of the same.
