This is an Important game if you want to win the Super bowl

I agree it's important in the fact that we have pretty high expectations after training camp. Losing one game wouldn't matter in the grand scheme. But I'd love to see us set the tone for the season for once. This season is different cause we don't expect the giants to be a pushover. They can be very good as their ceiling.

Dallas has beaten NY like 50 of the past 52 meetings and havent been CLOSE to winning

Heck

Even close to getting near a superbowl

Win or lose this game means absolutely nothing to a SB
So winning a divisional game means absolutely nothing on the road to a Super bowl.

Noted

How many times have we beaten the Giants in recent memory?

How many superbowls have we gotten close to?

Tonight will make 0 difference in the road to the superbowl its week 1
So you're saying it doesn't matter if we win or lose division games.

No matter what we do we're not getting close to a Super bowl.

Okay I can respect that as an opinion

We had no defensive tackles and couldn't stop the run.

We tried everything we could to work around it but in the end when we won Super bowls we had some great players in the middle of our defense.

Bob Lilly Randy White Russell Maryland.
We have that again but you got to beat the teams in your division first.
Win the games that you are supposed to win
Exactly right.

Superbowl????? hahaahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhaahahhhaaaaa

They can't even win a quarter. LOL

And the Giants are supposed to be one of the EASY games on the schedule, a team that Dak owns.

Come on, man....stop talking about the Superbowl. Let's see if this team can even MAKE the playoffs.

This is actually the most important game of the season. It sets the tone..
Then how did SEA win the super bowl after losing the 1st game of the season last year?

This is one lame thread. Doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Seasons are NEVER defined by one early season game.

Did you know the Pats also lost their 1st game of the season last year? So both super bowl participants started off w/a loss. Think, man, think.

Tone setting is nothing both sports writers' blather.

No, it's not that important to win or lose 1 div game.
