Fire Christian Parker

First off….no

But this is the reason I told everyone to pump the brakes on CP. it’s easy to coach in the offseason, we need to see how he reacts when things aren’t going well. Tonight things didn’t go well and he had no answers. He also doesn’t have anyone on his staff that’s called plays at this level he can go to for advice. Now the question is how does he react week to week. Hopefully he can right the ship for week 2 and come out with a strong game plan as he learns to make in game adjustments.

This was always a longterm build. No rookie safety fixes a last place defense; he’s probably the only guy you want to keep longterm from that secondary. Winters who was gonna be benched by SF is probably the only other guy in your entire back 7 worth keeping longterm.

Not a lot of great defenses with situations like that.

Parker needs time, and Dallas still needs to add pieces and continue to build. Expecting a day1 quick fix is not how it usually works

At least Eberflubb had the excuse of no talent. Gashed in the running game. Receivers so wide open you couldn’t tell who was covering them. When the game is on the line, 4 man rush on 3rd and long with no worries for the opposing offense. Just make your reads and wait for an open receiver. I really dislike this type of zone defense.

If you didn't expect this in game 1, the problem is you. They had a historically bad defense last year. It's going to take half a season to know what the defense is going to look like.

He’s working with the worst defense in the NFL from last year. They weren’t going to be the 85 Bears this year. Need to see if he can make the necessary changes for week 2. Not a good start for him, obviously.

After seeing this tonight. I thought I understood football . Is it the players or coaches.

The one thing I didn't like about Parker tonight. We sent a blitz with downs and got home once or twice, yet it was more soft zones second half. I get it he did it in Philly, and in time it may work. But that was atrocious.

How do you leave the flat open for four straight plays.

Problem is cowboy fans who think a team with this many new pieces can win a Super Bowl. This is an 8 win team at best.
