The defense continues to be awesome without Parsons

We have no pass rush, again. But these plyers we got for Parsons some clowns said we won the trade, laughable.
no one on the team cares about playing football against opponents. i think they like film study and walk through, but no one wants to punish an opponent.

It would be the same with Parsons only the cost would be $50MM a year more. Parsons is only effective for teams that are playing from ahead and can pin their ears back and not worry about the run. Parson’s jersey would have had Skattebo’s cleat marks all over the back of it if he played in this game.

The linebacker group on the field is a supermassive black hole. Overshown, Barham, Winters... Giants made a clown show

Never understood the Overshown hype train. It's Jaylon Smith 2.0.1

No one on the defense worries anyone. no one is gameplanned for; no one changes the game.
when you have all 11 playing bad no one player makes any difference

especially one laying on the trainers table to make a spectacle of himself

While Parsons was certainly getting on my last nerve prior to when he "checked" out I said we should keep Parsons at all costs and would be a horrendous idea to trade him. Ego Jerry had other thoughts

Parsons on the field is a game changer. Packers arguably had one of the top defenses until he went down. He takes so much pressure off everyone else and opens up huge opportunities for others.

Granted we will see what he looks like when he returns. He may take this full year to get back to normal

Honestly. Stuff like this is why Micah keeps coming up. Because people post nonsense like this and then it needs be called out.

Micah was a player.
Micah made Plays
Micah got Stats

But this team was having defensive problems when he was here. Hence the change in so many DCs and play after Dan Quinn left.

You cannot win in this league without playmaking LBs. The Cowboys haven’t had one for many years (Parsons was closest but he was really more of an edge rusher than a real LB).
