I knew we were destroyed when they converted the first 3rd and long. What's the point if you consistently get beat on 3rd and 9? Just like last year we can't seem to get our defense off the field. I was begging them to blitz. CP called that game like he was terrified of getting beat.

Williams had the peanut punch but it sure seemed like there was a lot of Scatbro and Singletary right up the middle.

165 yards rushing means no one up front had a good day.

Their rushing yards were mostly on the edge.

What stood out to me is how bad the defense was coached. I think the whole team is poorly coached but the defense in particular was awful. They looked confused. We saw this with Nolan as the DC. The open receivers all night was just awful.

1) At one point they ran the same play 4x in a row, swing pass to the flat. Absolutely pathetic

2) 2 possessions on offensive side of the ball the whole half!!!!??? It’s better to allow huge chunk plays on D than what we witnessed today. Three different possessions of 13+ plays. Pathetic

3) Worst EPA/play than any game last year except one. All the hype I bought into gone after one week lol. I also think in out on Parker after this. Last years D was better and even if we can turn it around talent such a disgusting taste in my mouth.

4) Only players worth keeping are Downs and Williams

This Cowboys organization has given us plenty of games like this over the last 30 years. One thing the Jones boys are is consistent with their trash.

If we're honest, the Cowboys didnt upgrade anything. Yes we had some draft picks and FAs come in....but so does every team. Yes we replaced the DC, but with a inexperienced rookie DC.

If we're honest, we stayed still this past offseason.

People keep saying give the defense time with new coach and system. How come the Giants looked so good and they have a new head coach and systems. I’ll tell you why, they work harder. We've been over this. Those coaches won't take his call. They are going to run their programs, not just be a mouth piece.

Got to keep in mind with all the hype going into the season the coaching staff is still very inexperienced. HC for the Cowboys = 2 seasons in and the DC is in his first year coaching as a DC. Meanwhile on the other side of the field you got John Harbaugh who's a proven HC for the past 18 seasons. That can make a huge difference.
