Overshown should not start anymore

He can not be trusted to stay healthy.

He wasn’t good last night before he got hurt. He was absolutely trucked by Skattebo.

He shouldn’t start anymore. Let Barham start and the chips fall where they may. But Overshown cannot be given a starting spot anymore. He is just too unreliable.

Don't bench Overshown because of one bad game. But don't give him an automatic starting job because he's Overshown, either. Make him earn the snaps based on what Parker needs that week.

The key for Overshown is what you're asking him to do. Overshown is at his best when Dallas lets him play fast. Attack downhill, blitz, chase the QB, cover space with his athleticism. But against the Giants, the Cowboys needed linebackers who could consistently diagnose the underneath game and get to the perimeter. New York repeatedly created problems there.

The dude hasn’t earned a starting spot in like two years due to injury and poor play last year when he was in.

You cannot rely on a player who is constantly hurt. You especially can’t rely on your green dot MLB if they are constantly missing time.

I sometimes wonder if the LBer play in Dallas has been bad for so long...that we OVERHYPE this guy. I have yet to see what the hype is about. If he had some Sean Lee performances...I would understand the hype and the patience from the organization....but I have NEVER seen it...so I am confused!!!

I agree, Overshown is trash. BTW, Our dbs can't cover outside of Downs and maybe Durant. Bland is beyond washed. Hes not a starter anymore. We do not have the correct edges to play this scheme. Unless we are willing to start Wheat at the OLB/DE spot over on the right, we will get killed. EZE cant cut it. Too small.

I loved the pick but hes had 2 bad injuries. Even if he improves a lot I still dont think you can risk resigning him. Hes 1 knee injury away from being done playing.

Unfortunately our front office decided we were just fine at linebacker this offseason
We have no talent and he was painfully obvious

He had injury issues in college but we just ignored that just like with LVE

Anyone think the D line was super great? NY got to the 2nd level often it seemed. I thought Downs had some nice plays.
