Favorite Things To Irrationally Hate

I'll add children's toy packaging to my list as well. I bought my nephew a Grave Digger remote control monster truck recommended for ages 4 and up for his birthday. It didn't mention needing a Craftsman mechanics tool set, bolt cutters, jaws of life, a machete, 5v DC outlet, and work gloves to get into it. But there I was, winded, perspiring, squinting through reading glasses, pieces, parts, tools, and a unbelievable pile of twist ties all piled around me. All the pictures of me at my nephew's party were that of a beaten and bewildered man.

When and why did it become necessary to enshrine children's toys where they need adult supervision to get into them? Is the same criminal element also responsible for navigating a 4 pack of AA batteries?

He's getting a sleeve of golf balls next year even if he doesn't play.

No, and honestly, I never noticed they'd dropped that.
Same here. The power of branding. And the Mandela affect.

I wonder the reasoning behind them not featuring the Lipton brand loud and clear on the labeling.

Unilever didn't change anything with the labeling of Ben and Jerry's when they acquired the company.

Wonder if they considered changing it to "Pure Cream". lol

Maybe Lipton had some bad press going on at the time.

Maybe but were talking about great grandma's Lipton Tea here. How can anyone talk crap about a brand so steeped in culture and nostalgia? Blasphemy! Irrational hatred!

Ben and Jerry's on the other hand.... lol.

I can't stand texting shorthand. I have a buddy who does it, and for some reason it irrationally annoys me.

Stuff like pls, tho, tmrw, and the worst offender of them all....b.

"I'll b right there."

Seriously, is it that difficult to find and hit the E button? Did that save you 0.0008 seconds?

Y duz it bother u?

IPAs. Nerd beer. I'm sure when you pay your tab it's hard to get your wallet out of your skinny jeans. Maybe you can just tap your smart watch instead...nerd.

Skinny jeans. If you're a female I encourage it and you've got my full endorsement. If you're a male grab an IPA and show yourself the door.

Wasps. What purpose do you serve other than bringing treachery to BBQ pits, porch gliders, children's wing sets, and boat docks nation wide? You make no honey for my biscuits. Even when you do pollinate it's purely accidental on your way to stinging somebody. Long range jet foaming of wasp's nest brings me joy liken only to the first pull off a cold non IPA beer or pulling on a good loose fitting pair of pants.
