3 OVERlooked things that I observed during the game

I’d chalk most of this up to not allowing starters to play in the preseason. Christian Parker’s scheme and inability to adjust is what really concerns me.
Most teams don't play their starters in preseason any more and they do just fine.

1. The sideline scrum. Nobody really came to Overshown defense after he hit Dart. That speaks volumes to me. This was supposed to be a war but Dallas thought they were slapboxing.

2. Ceedee and gp nonstop begging for calls. Neither of you are top 5 receivers. Go get the ball and stop crying after every target.

3. lastly. The tackle at the end of the game when Newsome got trucked by Javonte. You will NEVER see a Cowboy corner come up to hit a running back like that. Not even in a playoff game. I have to see it to believe it. They wanted it way more than Dallas.

The mental toughness and to a lesser extent physical toughness is still nowhere to be found on the team. They can't change that by looking at film either.
What? Smh

Chase
Jefferson
Puka
Jsn
St brown

What's wrong with that list? They are both top 10 wrs that need to step up when a war is going on. Last night was a war. Next week won't be a war so them smacking the Commanders won't mean anything to me.

Schotty and Parker are completely in over their heads. Schotty not going for it on 4th and 1/2 a yard shows the gutless half-measure thinking he had all last year. No offensive adjustments other than drawing DPIs. Parker rushed 4 and sat back in soft zone 78% of the time. We were sold on how innovative he would be and bring a Fangio like defense. That was just Eberflus redux. Get rid of them both before it's too late. This team is still broken from the playoff loss to GB. They're the opposite of fun to watch every week. And their top pick is going to the Jets.

Derp.

I was stunned how Overshown was hemmed up on their sideline surrounded by 20 giants and no Cowboy really came. Will the softness ever end?
Cowboys is a country club. A bunch of people that just talk a good game and become more about money then the team. Very few players on our team looked like they wanted to play yesterday. GP def looked disinterested which was very concerning.

We need dawgs on defense.

I was disappointed in the reaction from the Cowboys players.
Yeah......the team building activities were supposed to help with that.

Perhaps Shoddy can bring in the sports psychologist from "The Natural"

"Losing is infectious as Bubonic Plague but, ah curable....."

not really true. It was on their sideline. Of course there are going to be all Giants over there. Watch it again, Winters was one of the first players in the middle of it and no one on the Giants really went after Overshown at all. This was a non-event. You can make a bigger point about why they let him blast their QB waaaayyyyy out of bounds without doing anything about it. There was so much to criticize about yesterday's game. This isn't even in the top 20

When I said nobody really it was an exaggeration. 1 or 2 players is nobody in that situation. We'll agree to disagree that it was a nonfactor
