We don't have a HC. We have an OC in Schotty and a inexperienced DC. No HC to provide a crutch, to sit in the film room with him, help him with a gameplan acting as devil's advocate and providing insight from years of experience. No HC to sit in on position meetings, blowing the whistle at practice and ripping their azz!!!!
A real HC like Tom, Jimmy, Parcells etc is what we needed, someone that would have gone ballistic after that stupid taunting penalty......JERRY is oblivious to common sense.
Damn, gonna take a couple of pain killers and chill out.

I can't remember if they showed a sideline reaction after the J Williams taunting penalty. Did they show if the head coach was demonstrative in chewing him out after the play? Or don't we do that in 2026?

...here's the benefit of the doubt. They had NO tape on NYG with Hardball all new coaches and players.

They probably assumed situations would occur, here n there. That explained some dudes left wide open, from back end to flats in backfield.

Im ok with Shotty, CP debut was scary bad. I cant believe right now, he's that bad. Gonna be a week, of very high criticism for CP.

Something to consider, since CP is new the Giants game plan had to be more about individual players rather than tendencies. The Giants did a great job of sizing up the Cowboys personnel and attacking the weaknesses. This is just smart football.

I can’t remember the last time I saw a coach chew out a player for any team.

Shotty is Wade Phillips part deaux. Can take a team built, personnel and culture, by a HoF coach and have some success. But there’s a ceiling to that success and it’s fleeting.

It’s only year 2, but I would move on from Shotty after this season if the Cowboys do not win the Division.
