Have gotten us a first down on his own on 4th and inches on the first possession. 6’5” 230. He should be on the 53 not SH who is a journeyman at best. 21 TDs and 22 Interceptions in his career. And he is the safer choice? Give me a break. And OBTW, Dak had wide eyed frat in his eyes before the game. He is the ultimate Choker!!

I read a few online comments immediately before kickoff last night that Dak, once again, had the "deer in the headlights" look - the one that usually doesn't appear until a playoff game. He has ALWAYS needed a sports psychologist more than any kind of further practice or physical training...he might be too proud to get the help he really needs.

It was a gutless move to punt on that first series...but that's not Dak's fault. The coaching staff doesn't trust this team to get a half-yard with power football...and that is a big problem.

Keeping just two QBs on the roster was a risky move. That decision in no way benefitted the team last evening. What did we see of the bottom end of the WR room?

I'd have had absolutely no issue sticking Milton in there on a one-or-less yard situation and going for it.

The entire underlying approach to the game had some irrational fear of the Giants baked into it...from the FIRST series. And it set the tone for the remainder of the evening.

You're on the road, it's your first drive of the season and you don't have the GUTS or more importantly the BELIEF in your team who btw you've been preaching to in training camp for months about how much you "believe" in this team? I would say + 90% of the time.

I doubt Dak's conversion rate on 4th and 1 on sneaks is 70 or 80%. He's fumbled multiple times also on sneaks.

I'd bet if looked at statistically: he usually hands it off in lieu of the sneak or even goal to go @ the 1. He's not good at it.

He sure did have that look. Agree on the sports psychologist. But now with this GOTI coping defense mechanism - following his public breakup scandal - he might need more than that.

I'm talking QB sneaks only, and he's had several notable failures on this play. Yes we convert 4th and 1 quite overall quite a bit. I'm speaking 4th and inches with him sneaking the ball. It's not a great play for him.

Dak always has that deer in headlights look is just how he looks lol. He does it after an interception or missed pass. He did it last night after Pickens dropped a pass.
