Perfectly said. Great post my manHonestly I think it’s poor decision making.
The offense is supposed to be the team strength. You need to be able to trust them to get a few inches.

The real title should be
Brian Schottenheimer stands by Jerry's decision not to go for it on 4th and inches

Picking up the 1st there quiets the crowd down and gives you the chance to regroup from a shaky 1st series and gives your team some confidence. Momentum is a huge factor in the outcomes of games, who knows how NY would have responded if they go down from there and score....I also had no problem. NYG was winning the LOS battle.
Shotty probably felt it too.
It was the 4th or 5th play of the game, no one had any real footing yet. So our HC was terrified of that vaunted Giant defense at the 3 minute mark ? A QB sneak for 6 inches was too hard ? Really ? When Tom Brady was 115 yrs old he was STILL nailing QB sneaks 10 out of 10 times. We're a very soft franchise...I also had no problem. NYG was winning the LOS battle.

What an idiot. Have some confidence in your offense man.
..on replay the play broke, RB turned outside which was suppose to be inside.Andy Reid just went for 4th and 1 from his own territory.
Worked out ok for the chiefs.
The bolded is a key. I am not upset about it because I lean that he hadn't seen anything out of his offense and if we are honest, weren't most fans also questioning the Oline going into the game? T questions & missing Smith. It was the 4th or 5th play of the game, no one had any real footing yet. So our HC was terrified of that vaunted Giant defense at the 3 minute mark ? Apples & Oranges.Andy Reid just went for 4th and 1 from his own territory.

He's got a lot of battle hardened players and proven schemes. It's not "stupid" - it's a calculated risk. If you think your guys can move their guys a few inches...to save you going 3-and-out in a high profile road game...YOU take the opportunity to set the tone.It would’ve been stupid go for it and most teams don’t. I would’ve went for it but it’s more stupid to go for it then not.
I mean who’s calling him a coward? People with nothing to lose lol. No coach is going for it on their side of the 50.I'd rather be called an idiot for going for it and failing than a coward for not even trying.
Andy Reid did it tonightI mean who’s calling him a coward? People with nothing to lose lol. No coach is going for it on their side of the 50.

Without your best guard I don’t know if you should take that risk. Knowing how bad the defense was I get it but I think we all had higher hopes for itIt's not "stupid" - it's a calculated risk. That punt was the Giants' first of many big lifts last night. And it was gifted to them.
He can he has rings to justify it lol. If he fails he doesn’t care he’s solidified.Andy Reid did it tonight![]()
LOL...ok...but I would believe Jerry is very upset with that low risk strategy. Jerry would rather you die trying than spit the bit.The real title should be
