A shout-out to Cowboy fans who live out of state

I live in the UK. Safe to say not too many people care. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of NFL fans here but they’re pretty spread out and it’s not a normal topic of conversation. Tell them I’m a Glasgow Rangers fan and it’s a different story…
Rangers>Celtic !
:)

I spent a decade out of state before finally coming back to Texas.
And brother, it can be brutal out there every time the Cowboys lose.
You out-of-state fans know what I mean. One is at work at the office or other venue and Cowboys haters come out the woodwork.
It's not a good time for Cowboys fans because of the haters who make it a point to needle fans.
"Hey, too bad your Cowboys lost." "What a trouncing those lads in silver and blue received." And on and on.
And these haters are hard to find when the Boys whip an opponent.
You fans out there out of state are the true fans who endure the slings and arrows but proudly march on. Chin up. We are due for better times.

Me admiration is for you out there is immense. .

NJ/NY here, for 50 years now. I used to walk into classrooms in high school and someone would yell from the back, “sit down, they suck!”

I live in Green Bay, and there’s really nothing to do here but live and die for the Packers year round. Sometimes is hard being a Dallas fan amongst a 100 thousand drunk, cheese eating people wearing more Packer gear than is necessary.

I'm in CT, halfway between Boston and NYC. It's pretty funny, how many Cowboys fans I run across.

On the other hand, the haters really hate. During the pandemic, I wore Cowboys masks and had a cop walk by and say, "What an ugly mask!" I was gonna say, "You think that's bad, you should see what's underneath?", but I decided not to encourage him.

I live in the middle of Chief Nation. Everywhere I go all I see is red.

It was cool until Mahomes came town. Three super bowls later and I'm pulling my hair out.
Nearly the same for me. I am 3.5 hours North of KC. That puts me in the middle of Chiefs, Packers and Vikings territory. Packer's fans are the worse.

Get on a Harley and go North. Get up around Land O Lakes and you'll find some absolutely gorgeous forest roads to ride. Plus, you're less than 3 hours away from "Globe" Wisconsin where county roads G, H and O come together. In one direction the sign reads, "HOG." That is a rite of passage of all Harley riders. Ride the ferry from Manitowoc to Ludington. From Ludington, make your way down to H E L L Michigan. It's a cute tourist trap. We did all that on our bikes too. oh, and I live Iowa! ;)

I live just outside of Lexington KY. The Bengals (Cincinnati and about 90 minutes north of me) the Titans (3.5 hours south of me) and the Colts (3.5 hours NW of me) are the territories I'm in. Unlike some others, I'm in a neutral zone. I don't get the hatred around town that some get. I work in a call center. We do have a couple each of Eagles fans and Giants fans and Commanders fans so I catch hell from them. Then again, we catch hell from each other... LOL

I have lived in San Jose (my office there is about a mile from the stadium in Santa Clara) and it is brutal. The 49er fans are so fairweather and it drives me crazy. You can tell if they are winning by how many jersey's you see people wearing at the grocery store. They lose in the playoffs and you would never know they had plans. Going to work and it is insufferable for me if they win and the Cowboys lose.

In WV it is mostly Steelers fans.
A few Cincy or Cleveland but mostly steelers. All three are about the same distance for me.

I have relatives that are a stones throw from Pittsburgh, bunch of rowdy yinzers. I got so tired of anything football from PA. If the Panthers were doing well they were panther fans if the Nittany lions were doing well they were on that bandwagon. They were however staunch steelers fans. I remember being a Tony TD fan as a youngster and I had to always hear how he played at Pitt.

Nothing better than walking around in a mall in Uniontown back in the day with a Dallas Cowboys hat with the Superbowl Logos on them Talk about some dirty looks.

But I hate that so many in WV are Steeler fans. As Mountaineer fans we are die hard Pittsburgh panther haters. That rivaly is real. But for these guys to turn around and like the steelers...makes no sense.

I can throw a rock anywhere in California and it will probably hit a Dallas fan
I always tailgate with the SCDCFC when I'm out there. I know the president and VP, and apparantly since I'm their white boy, I'm also their lawyer if anything happens. Lol
