Playing a 3-4 just means he's going to constantly take on pullers lol.

The 4-3 vs. 3-4 distinction doesn't matter in the NFL, but it is hilarious that people think there is a scheme in which offenses aren't going to block Micah Parsons with OL
 
I wasn't surprised at all. I knew the Giants were going to be dramatically better prepared. I thought maybe Dallas could out talent them but the preparation or lack there of was staggering. I am as anti Shottenheimer as anyone here. I think he is a total fraud and is about to be exposed. Hence no embarrassment. Fully expected.

Of course not - It wouldnt be him running into a RT or LT the entire season though.

The biggest mistake this team made was just lining him up constantly as a DE. He isnt one.

He needed to be moved around. Like the first season.

I dont know why this team does something, it works, then goes away from it.

You guys keep wanting to blame the colossal failure that is the Cowboys on one player all the time. You cant.

Micah was PART of a problem. He was also played out of position. Much like Byron Jones for 3 years they moved him to corner (his college position) and he had a career year, and left in FA lol.

This FO and multiple coaching staffs have ruined players by forcing them into positions of need instead of filling that position with actual talent.

Go look at our pressures and sack totals with Micah and without.

Or you can ignore them and bring up the one month after he was the entire defense to try and degrade what he did.

They moved him around all the time.

There's this discourse that the Cowboys needed to try to disguise 11 and that sort of thing but the reality is that it isn't hard to find him lol.

I did not solely blame it all on Micah. But that is the topic. How he effected or did not effect the defense.
Lack of playoff success was on the entire team.

But this was what did Micah do to truly help.

Fair enough - I mean to be honest - Its looking like he was the entire defense right now considering we cant get a sack or get an INT lol.

I think he covered a lot of warts on this team.
 
Ive never understood no reps for Dak in preseason. Even Aikman played progressively more in preseason games and would sit the final one.

This team comes out looking Rusty, unprepared and slow. There is always risk of injury but there is the risk of being woefully unprepared as well amd it showed again.
 
I think what is terrible is that we've been so bad for so long, but we're fed koolaid to pad Jerry's pockets thinking the next year will be different. SO, when they come out and play like a bunch of guys who have never played football, this has to fall directly in the GM's lap. There is absolutely no sense to be made of how bad the defense looked, or team in general after all the additions.

It just comes down to a spoiled culture, and the bad Karma of Jerry... It's so sad that we as fans get such a flawed experience because of one mans greed, and what's worse is some of us still buy merch and go to games. I'm proud to say I haven't bought anything cowboys in over 20 years, nor have I paid to go to a single game. I promised myself that the team had to at least get to the nfc championship game before I start to take them seriously again as a organization.. They're still my team, love football, but I'm deeply saddened on what this great franchise has become..

The Cowboys are known for turning a team's weakness into a 1 game strength. How many struggling QBs have had career days against us? How about the guy some years back who like 6 or 7 sacks against us? That dude didn't have that many sacks the rest of his career combined.
 
in the NFL you might win some and lose some but at this point I just want Dallas to show up in all three phases of the game.

When teams do that, they give themselves a chance of winning.

That did NOT happen on Sunday night against the Giants
