herd.I never referenced a specific game. It was a general statement about the excuses that are trotted out about the offensive failures any time the D doesn't have a shutout. To list all the specific failures would be too exhausting.
I watch & I understand what I see. Not just make up excuses to fit a prescribed narrative. I know this will be a very foreign concept for you. Don't worry, I don't expect you to comprehend.
Can you avoid exaggerating in the opposite direction?
Nobody's asking for a shutout; we're asking for the team, including the offensive line, run game, receivers, and coaching staff,
to perform better in big games.
The quarterback is often the fifth or sixth factor when analyzing losses. When evaluating with an open mind, the quarterback is typically the least responsible for defeats.
For example, in 2023 against Green Bay, the team as a whole was subpar, the defense struggled significantly. Historically, over even the past 20 years, the defense has been more responsible for losses than any other group on the field, aside from coaching and performance in the trenches.
Look and these are facts these are not excuses they are they are not deflecting from any of the core backs subpar games is there a reason he has sub- par games,
You are don't understand it even elite generational quarterbacks have rarely ever been asked to carry a team, Even when there's nothing else..
I mean this is the truth you're asking for a quarterback that not many have been born in a lifetime that can actually win those games That promo and press I have struggled in It's the truth nobody's making excuses game by game break them down and find out that there are reasons they didn't look very good and you're asking for them to be perfect in those of these games but all quarterbacks are going games like this Matthew Stafford led the league in interceptions and through two interceptions and nearly through a third in the Super Bowl that they won but guess what they won that game because they didn't allow that to be excused lose The quarterback did not play perfect but the defense and special teams in the coaching made sure they won that game that is what we're lacking here and we've been lacking here for a long time we keep blaming the quarterback even the Green Bay game those two winner sevens had story behind them that did say it was reckless and that he shouldn't have thrown the ball because lamp broke his route off and went upfield and went off script is he's in that ball picked off ask him The other one cooks was interfered with that one but twice that is why the leverage was there for the interception i'm not making excuses but it doesn't matter those early enough in those games they come back and win you know I know that because the 49ers did it to the Lions in the same playoff week..
You weren't paying attention because if you notice that the 49ers were also having a terrible game also down by about the exact same deficit at halftime but instead they played well in the second half and came back on the game and our defense came out and gave up three straight downs at halftime and you're blaming quarterbacks 2 inceptions early in the game we see time and time again great teams overcome those things and don't blame one player for not having perfect game..
