At the beginning of the season they were. Jones got injured and the Steelers had a great game plan taking away Johnathan Taylor and Colts didn't make them pay. Also Jones injury hurt his running game which is part of his game.

Why? They were good last year until Jones got hurt. Got a lot of their players back, I didn’t think they would suck, unless Jones and the beginning to last year was only a fluke.

The chiefs were smart to bolster their running game and take some of the pressure off Mahomes.

Like you said, he doesn’t need to be Superman anymore. When he can hand the ball off or throw a screen and let the RB’s do a bunch of the work.
