Dak never makes the play

Because even if Pickens ran the wrong route, it's still a horrible pass. It was too high for anyone to even make a play on it.

Just accept the reality, on a day of many screw ups from the defense, coaches, etc., Dak contributed as well with some piss poor play at the end.
After marching them down the field to tie the game, only for our defense to once again give up a massive play and lose the game.

Yes, I agree. No amount of logic will change the hate on Dak, so whatever.

People gonna blame the defense, the defense isn't good, we know this. And they still actually got us some stops.

Dak had two drives to put it away, vs a team he moved the ball against all game. Couldn't get it done.
A HUGE stop when it mattered most. But we still blame them for the loss.

Absolute insanity.

Schotty just said he overcoached and told Dak to throw the ball away on that pass to Pickens. He wanted to play for the tie. Fire him immediately.
I'm sure he's falling on a sword here. The conversation was more likely, "If its not there, throw it away." It was there.

I bet you'd've called bs on stopping Henry at the goal line. And yet we did.

What did the offense do with it?

He choked. Pickens was wide open and he flung it over his head because he's a panicky head case that chokes in big moments...over and over again. Blame defense all you want, they suck, but he had his chance to win, and he Dak'd it all up.
It baffled me that people just don't see this.

There is plenty of blame to go around. But he had the opportunity to win the game, and he did a throwaway instead.
Right before we kicked the field goal that tied that game. After completing pass after pass to get down that far.

I’m serious, I would hate to be some of y’all’s kids. Your expectations are absurd, and the defense gets no mention at all.

Honestly, I find it really strange.

Anyone who concludes Dak didn't fail in that spot is not being logical.

Again, it doesn't matter what he did on the 3rd drive of the game. He's paid to be an elite QB who is to be counted on in those spots.

He failed. Doesn't mean he's the sole reason they lost. Or that the defense didn't suck. Or that we made a bunch of boneheaded mistakes. Or the coaches sucked too. All that is true including the part where our highly paid, supposedly top level QB didn't make plays in a crucial spot.

Again, how is this so controversial?

I'm done. Never going to another game. Never watching another game. I've been going to and watching and watching Cowboys games since the 80s. Jerry Jones has trickled all the way down into how this team plays plays on the field. Spineless. I lost my %#%^ after this game in front of my family and I won't do it again. I won't be watching this team again until Jerry has sold this team or is six feet under. I hate him so much. What a gutless way to lose a game. But it's only a reflection of the leadership. Sadly, I was expecting the game to end this way. I can't let the Cowboys continue to interfere with my personal life. I've been a fan since I was 7 years old. I'm signing out because my personal life is too important and the Cowboys/Jerry have been making things miserable from the months of September to December. I'll see you later Cowboys. Gone are the days of Jimmy and Landry. Maybe one day again, when the Jones family is gone

Again dak has a year left, don't we need to plan for the future? If we have a high pick we should be taking a qb.

Expectations are absurd???

He's one of the highest paid QBs in the league. You guys prance around here calling him an upper level QB who apparently played awesomely today. And yet the expectation that when he drives his team for a winning score that he makes a play that actually gets them the GW touchdown is too high an expectation?

LOL, you have to be trolling.

It's a team loss. Everyone had bad plays, and then some good moments on both side of the ball. But when you have a wide open receiver in the end zone and you throw it away, then that is a missed opportunity for a win and that's on him.
One play was on him. It's like blaming Burrow for getting sack fumbled on the last play against the Steelers. One play.

The bigger macro issue was Schottenheimer who called a crappy game, conservative red zone, afraid of Lamar and the offense.

Also Schoonmaker. Yes, he also had one bad play but he also gets to take a lot more plays off. Dak is on every single play he's asked to make something happen. So of course he's gonna have a few bad plays. Just bad timing it happened on the last one.

The first thing I said tonight was it was the whole teams fault that we lost. But the Win was there if he would've went for it.
