Dak Prescott is elite in the final two minutes of games

I miss the days when we used to celebrate wins instead of stats.

Im not sure if you watch Cowboys games but wins are still celebrated. Ive never seen stats celebrated around here. You have a link i can check out how stats are celebrated?

Dak has led the Cowboys to 26 game winning drives and 14 of them were in the 4th quarter. What part of garbage time is that?
Hey now, be careful or my friend Eric will be along to let you know that that's a team stat not a qb stat!;)

Nice sample size..lol
Since the beginning of 2025....with one of the best WR tandems in NFL history.

These stats are weird anyway.
Like someone mentioned earlier. Caleb Williams has more 4th comebacks than anyone in that period and he's 19th

Dak Prescott is the all time leader in Brazilian passing yards.

Better than Marino, Manning, Brady, Montana. Even better than Foles and Dilfer.

Take that, haters.

watching Dak Bots is like watching really incompetent clowns trying to impress people

Dak is not elite in the final 2 minutes of games. He is terrible. How many times were the Cowboys down and needed a TD in the last 2 minutes and Dak got it? Twice maybe in his entire career? He is awful at that. I don't care what stats you have, I care about the final result.

Dak has a lot of almost comebacks, but they end in losses. First and goal against the Eagles a few years back from the 6. We lost. First and goal from the 2 in Brazil, lost. Back in 2020 against the Seahawks in the final 2 minutes, lost. Against the 49ers in the playoffs, lost. I don't care how close he comes, I care about the outcome. They are almost always losses.

Dak is in the most entertaining game every week. You don't need stats to see that he's always giving his team a chance, but there's a limit to his ability to consistently do so if the defense keeps allowing long time consuming drives.

Were people just asleep when #1 on that list had 3 turnovers against the Chargers and Lassiter drops a game ending pick? Those were 1 pm games, 10 am here - so maybe less people saw them. He's lucky he's not 1-2.

There's very little talk about that.... and a LOT of talk about the Cowboys/Ravens game, especially the last offensive drive.

While I admit the way we played against the Giants we deserved to lose, we are also very unlucky we lost to the Ravens.

Those are the thin margins in the NFL.
Huh? Unlucky vs the Ravens? What am I missing? Brain cramps late in a game isn't luck

Daks not a closer! You can’t put him in a tight game and need aTD pass inside the redzone.
When the field is compressed even Pickens and Lamb cant save Dak from himself. Any other QB in the league would have killed to have that situation in Brazil last week.

If he is elite, where are all the W's?
The WS are not there because of the defense, Let's not have this conversation again!!:mad::thumbdown:

First of all, I don’t think he’s elite. He’s one of the best, though, most years he’s a top-five quarterback and even in his worst moments he’s top ten.

That’s all you need in this league to win games. Are we really going to say some of these quarterbacks on winning teams are better? The Bears won with Case Keenum because, they had a better overall team. They beat the Eagles with their third stringer because they had a stronger roster than the Cowboys.

Prescott would be dominating with some of these teams, but no one calls him elite all the time, they just say he’s running the offense at an elite level and that the defense keeps letting them down.

That’s where all the losses come from. This is the third year in a row, and the fourth time since 2016, that the defense has been terrible, bottom five in the league.

You can’t expect wins with no defense?!!!!!:espn:

Even Troy or Rodgers wouldn’t win with this team. They’ve never been asked to do it without a defense, without an offensive line, and with a unit that can’t get pressure or cover, giving up 32 points a game. The Cowboys are an elite offense because they score 30 or more, but you can’t win when your defense gives up even more.

Ball Lesson;

Apparently, ball starts in the trenches. Great offenses can get you to the playoffs, but great defenses win in the playoffs, and we don’t have that. Honestly, this isn’t real football; it’s like watching fantasy football or Madden. Even an elite quarterback, the best in the league, wouldn’t be winning with this weak supporting cast, coaches included.

Some say Matthew Stafford is elite, but he didn’t win anything with the Lions. Then he goes to the Rams, leads the league in interceptions that year, throws two, almost three in the Super Bowl, and still ends up with a ring. Is that really elite?

If being elite means tossing interceptions, like last week’s pick-six, then I don’t get it. And where’s this “all-in” Rams team, spending all that money, but ending up in the same spot we are? Hmmm.

Spot on!!! I can think of 2 games where Dak got us a TD in the final two minutes to save the game or win. Back in 2016 against the Eagles, and a few years back against the Steelers. Other than that, he is complete garbage in that situation.

For those that like to compare Dak to Romo, Romo probably did that 50 times as opposed to Dak's twice.

19 Fourth Quarter Comebacks, 26 Game-Winning Drives

You didn't take my advice and look up the definition of game winning drives used to come up with these numbers.

Click on your link, hover your mouse above the column header GWG and read it. Do the same for FQC.

This is not the flex you think it is. You look silly leaning on this.
he is a Dak fan boy not a Boys fan; if the boys lose by six TDs but Dak looks good he is happy
