that WSH game though they were fingertips away from 5 sacks..JD is fast and Quick , stopped on dime and ducts out so many..it happens.. those were all real pressures, it flushed him out a ton.I respect pressures i just push back on people pretending they areas good as sacks. All pressures aren't equal.
Refer to my post #6.I don’t discredit pressures the way some do, but at some point we need some of these rushes to turn into sacks.
Yeah pressure rate alone typically doesn’t tell the story. I want players creating pressure, but also need to know how quickly they’re getting pressure, how many guys are you sending, and how many blockers does the offense have? I mean you can get pressure 100% of the time if you send 6 guys vs 5OLRefer to my post #6.
This shows improvement. That's a good thing.Ezeiruaku currently holds a 15.9% pressure rate.
His pressure rate as a rookie was 9.7%.
As far as pressures, I just to know how many result in an incomplete pass, or even a check down below the sticks on 3rd. Your job as a rusher is to effect the passing game. If your non sack pressures arent doing that, what good are theyLast year's defense, yes that one, was 6th overall in quarterback pressures and LED THE LEAGUE in pressure percentage at 31.2%.
So just maybe, some people might want to re-think their stance on what is and isn't a credible and effective pressure as a stat.
Get home or go home.

I think a lot of this stuff is assignments. Like bland is told to give a cushion bc they expect pressure or even vice versa . Like Donavan is told to maintain lane integrity bc bland is expected to cover underneath.I respect pressures i just push back on people pretending they areas good as sacks. Pressures allowed for OT's is a better use of the stat
Exactlythere is pressure, and then there is EFFECTIVE pressure
