Honestly though, the D in the first half was good, just a shame the offense couldn't do much then. It's not much, but I have been noticing the D improving week to week....even if it's gradual.
Meh, Stroud missed some wide open guys in the 1st half that would have added a few more TDs that half. Giving up 30s back to back weeks, especially this week against a bad Houston offense is not improvement.

If the offense doesn't score every single possession, it's only considered a disaster because of how bad our defense is. This isn't high school, you aren't getting points every drive.

I get that. But I must say, I do like how they've defended the run the last few weeks, and it was nice to see us sack Stroud a few times. That was good to see. I think Parker needs to adjust his pass rush scheme and maybe send a few more blitzes.
 
I can't believe I forgot about this, but we won the Governor's Cup back tonight.

Glad for the win. Defense has to solve its issues. Offense has to find replacements for Bebe bell and Steele. Guyton doing great and holding up. Cee Dee cannot keep bailing the team . Jerry needs to find some linemen.
defense needs to stop playing so much zone and letting guys wide open in open lanes and maybe take chances and blitz more.
