One takeaway from today was making adjustments at the half. I felt like we were just going to see a repeat of the 1st half and slowly watch us get blown out. Defense did a damn good job plugging up the run today.

Last year QBs only threw at him 66 times and he was seventh in opposing QB target rate and was third in opposing WB rating.

It’s a conscious decision by opposing OCs and QBs

Not true, you say? There was no two game span last season when Lamb was dominant in one game and then Pickens was dominant the next?

There was an almost perfect back-to-back example late in the 2025 season.


Week 15 — December 14, 2025: Cowboys vs. Vikings

• CeeDee Lamb: 6 catches, 111 yards
• George Pickens: 3 catches, 33 yards
• Dallas lost 34–26.

So Lamb clearly had the productive game while Pickens was relatively quiet.

Week 16 — December 21, 2025: Cowboys vs. Chargers.

Then it essentially flipped:

• George Pickens: 7 catches, 130 yards, TD
• CeeDee Lamb: 6 catches, 51 yards
• Dallas lost 34–17.
