Cee Dee's Interesting comments about last week

I’m thinking the level of vitriol in this thread towards each other is not called for. If I was a mod I would temporarily bench a couple of you over these personal attacks and I don’t have a dog in this fight at all. It’s uncalled for. I don’t care what side you are on.

With that said, don't be mad at me, be mad at the videos that crushes the narratives that Schotty supposedly lied to cover up this person or that person.
This was my point, big dawg.

Lambs comment does nothing to refute the absolute reality that BS did what any good man would do when facing a pack of media vultures questioning a play that appeared to be a give up play by the QB.

BS was both telling the truth, (he did tell him to throw it away "if it's not there"), but with a little fibbing too, (taking all the blame even though he didn't mean to throw it away before giving the play all the time available).

Let me try one last time to simplify it enough for you to wrap your brain around.

BS called the play and explicity warned the QB to avoid a sack at all costs by throwing it away if it wasn't open.

The QB followed that advice in EXTREME fashion and gave up on the play way to early by throwing it into the bleachers.

The media vultures were all over that in the PC, forcing BS to respond. BS had to choose between throwing the QB under the bus or taking the heat himself. He did what any good coach/good man would do and put the burden on himself publically and I'm sure he and Prescott talked later.

It's just that simple and anybody who has watched sports and PCs has seen this same scenario play out countless times. You're protect Prescott at all costs narrative that he was just following orders like a good soldier and that Lamb's comments here prove it is so.... well..... you.

BS failed on the play.
Prescott failed on that play.

You got some real chihuahua energy there, big dawg.

CeeDee Lamb excited about making Cowboys history against Texans | FNIA | NFL on NBC (FULL INTERVIEW) - YouTube

I found it interesting that at the 3:06 mark in the video, Cee Dee mentioned how Schotty didn't make the same mistakes he made last week in his playcalling. Its interesting to me because when Schotty apologized for how he handled the play calling on the last drive, people were saying stuff like "he's falling on the sword for....." or "he's just covering up for..." or "he's just lying to protect...."

Basically alot of people was saying he lied to cover up for Dak which doesn't make sense at all. Now that Cee Dee is saying what he said about Schotty in this video, I guess those same people are going to say CeeDee is lying too, huh.....

Schottenheimer learned did he?

So why did he go for a 62 yard field goal at the end of the first half? He literally gifted Houston 6 points.

Schottenheimer is a liar.

Schottenheimer is a liar.

So this means Cee Dee is lying as well correct? Schotty is on record for apologizing for the same mistakes that Lamb just mentioned he didn't do this week as far as play calling, correct?

So do you believe Cee Dee is lying as well?

Side note, the decision to attempt that fg right there was definitely ridiculous, I agree.

Schotty told Dak to throw it away. Pickens was wide open and Dak didn't have the intestinal fortitude to override his coach and go for the win by throwing it to a wide open receiver. Rather than go for the win, AND maybe run around to bleed the clock more, Dak decided to throw it away fast and stop the clock. So both Schotty and Dak were responsible, but Schotty was the main culprit. It's that simple.

The main thing that caused the quick throw was the pressure from the edge rusher.

constantly bumping your own troll post is weak

Worrying about the moves and dealings of another grown man is even weaker.

Calling a post that is clearly destroying false narratives, trolling.... is ever weaker than your first weakness. Go find you something to do and stay out of grown folks business.

Ok let's add some credibility to your claim. At what minute mark in the video was Pickens open before Dak threw the ball? Share that minute mark to us real quick.

I only asked, because all the videos ive seen, the ball was launched before Pickens got open. Maybe you have a different video. Tell us the minute mark Pickens was open while Dak still had the ball.....

Let's discuss.... is Cee Dee lying too?
Na, Dak has proven to be able to make big throws when needed, 4th quarter drives and game winning drives….i don’t think he was scared on that play and just wanted to throw it away quickly.

Exactly. The man is an 11 year veteran. Drive all the way down the field dropping dimes and then get scared knowing we are already in fg range doesn't make a lick of sense.

Thats the dumb narrative they were trying to push. Simply hilarious.

Dak missed a wide open Pickens. Better quarterbacks would have hit him.

There's your fact, Skippy.
It seemed pretty clear that Dak threw the ball away, rather than even try to get it to Pickens. Why? I don't know. Did he panic (seemed like it) or did he just do what he was told (even though he could have effectively won the game)? We may never know for certain, but we know it was an idiotic play on Dak's part, even if Schotty did tell him to throw it away.

My personal opinion is that Schotty only meant for Dak to throw it away if he didn't have an open receiver, but didn't realize he had to spell it out for Dak.

Your last comment is obviously correct. No coach would say not to throw it to a wide open player, especially George Pickens for the win. And no elite QB would listen even if that's what he heard.

He threw it because of the pressure.

You’re gossiping and trying to bait people by talking about “liars”.

The fact that you’re oblivious to your role in your own drama makes it even better.
