I drifted over to NFL.com to check something and found this.

Cee Dee Lamb leads all receivers in yards for the season at 498.

Now take that in for a second. Dallas has finished four games and he has almost 500 yards. Obviously he won't post 185 yards in a game with any regularity. Or maybe ever again this season. But Geez, this guy has the possibility to hang close to 1800 yards for the regular season.

Not certain this is thread worthy. But any suggestion CeeDee isn't the number 1 receiver for Dallas, and an elite receiver in this league is hogwash.

Saw a video - that I cannot find now - speaking about Beebe and what he did in the Houston game. Evidently defenses watch the center for cues when the ball is about to be snapped. It has to do with nodding or some signal. The video stated most teams use a couple of different ways like, the guard turns and slaps the center on the butt. Or his nod is quick. Or slow. What was stated is Beebe mixes up the signal to confuse the defenders.

I've never seen this type of analysis before and think it is just another aspect to gaming. The voice over said Dallas has introduced a more complex system to make the snap more obscure. Take that for what it's worth.

Ceedee can absolutely keep up his historic season if teams keep defending the cowboys same way. Defense are really rolling a lot of coverage over to GP. Even the linebackers are shifting towards GP. And then also teams are also paying attention to Ferguson. That’s why his numbers are down. They know he’s Dak safety blanket.

I agree with most of this except for the fact that teams are definitely not paying attention to Ferguson lol.

I imagine they put their best db on Lamb and then roll coverage to Pickens. The beautiful thing is, once they decide to do the opposite GP will start gutting them. Then if they sell out JW and the beef up front will maul.

Let's just hope the defense comes together....

The cadence thing is probably a Schotty/Adams thing more than it is a Beebe thing.
Just another added nuance thus coaching staff has added. Its the small things that get missed when Shottty pays conservative and frustrates us all.

sure looked like Texan Dline were confused. that explains why their Dline almost sacked Dak on every passing play. are you sure Beebe didn't confuse his own Oline?

Well, I put in a call to Beebe personally, but he is still celebrating the win and promised to call me back after he and Witten get back from Cabo San Lucas.
