I tried to warn everyone. A lot of us did

Look at me! I’m the greatest! No ones ever seen anyone as great as me!

Haters are so proud today. And you call yourself a fan. :lmao2:
You would be better off admitting that he's right, because he is, the Cowboys are awful.

Anyone who is expecting the Cowboys to have an easy win last night was delusional.

And this is the problem with our fan base. Like the players, they look at the record and not the team that’s going on the field.

Our fan base took Tampa lightly so did the team and here we are.

Nothing has changed. The culture is the same.

This team was unprepared unwilling and just simply not good enough.

I don’t wanna hear excuses about 11 days. I don’t wanna hear excuses about injuries. Tampa was missing it starting quarterback.. the injury excuses stop there.

Our fan base is embarrassing. And I’m not expecting to see any of the guys on here today who love calling realistic fans names.

I’m not expecting anyone to eat crow about how wrong they were about this team.

As it stands right now, we have one of the worst defences in the league after investing quite a bit into it, our offence refuses to run the ball because our head coach in over his head, and our owner sees nothing wrong because he did the work to put this team on the field and this coaching staff together.

I hope you guys are in for a wild ride because this season might be the worst one we’ve seen in a long time.

And this all starts at Jerry, thinking he’s the smartest man in the room, trying to prove to the football world that he’s a football guy when he’s not.

So proud of yourself aren’t you.

Any remaining team on our schedule can beat us. Perhaps another absolute dog turd of a season like 2010 is what's needed for change.

Amen. Some people go to church because they want to turn their life around and do the hard work. Many are looking for a quick fix based on following simple rules. Both go the same place, but one has their hard-hat on and the other is just hard-headed. We have some hard-headed Cowboys fans who are looking for a quick fix...not really understanding what a contender looks like. This loss, the loss to AZ last year - INDEFENSIBLE BUT PREDICTABLE GIVEN HOW THE COWBOYS DO BUSINESS.

Yeah I feel like an I told you so thread is warranted after the abuse many of us received for simply taking a wait and see approach and not putting our heads up Jerry’s butt.
Don’t get me wrong, man. I hold the homers to account when they’re abusive, so I get it. I just don’t like to see it either way.

They're 2-3 in a crappy division, this isn't true.
It is true bro, you really have any delusions that this team can compete for and win a superbowl? The season is over, this team won't even make the wildcard round.

Well, we have/had a perfect opportunity to take control of the NFCE. NY and Washington, lose their starting QBs. Washington is down to their 3rd string QB. Philly lost half of their starters to inury.. The other teams in the NFCEare falling apart, we are in relatively good shape and lose to a winless team. Maybe with the others battling key injuries we won't lose too much ground. Sad that our only hope is to bank on the misfortunes of other teams.

I’ll never give any props to someone like him who hates on every thread every day. You can applaud that, but I won’t. And since he’s always been negative and predicting doom and gloom, he’s bound to be right eventually. But the thing is that he’s so happy about it. And you sticking up for him is a bad look. He’s a hater and a troll and calls people cowards from behind his keyboard.
Telling the truth about this team doesn't put you in the "hater" category but it sure does beat being in denial.

Dude good shape for what 8-9???

Every week is i told you so. Our fan base is as annoying as our owner and team.

You can do both, you know: find the above childish and yet refuse to stoop to that level.

We call this integrity.
I call integrity owning up when you were wrong. And holding peoples feet to the fire when they dont.

What you are referencing is called taking the high road, or turning the other cheek.

No such thing as a trap game with this defense. Hardly posted during this game man.. I just felt bad about it.. saying all that. It’s superbowl or just.. as it should be every year. We definitely have to clean house with this coaching staff. God awful coaching staff. Ferguson… how the hell is this man still starting??

It sure is, especially when all offseason they tell you that you are a hater because you are taking a wait and see approach. Then double down on being wrong.

It really is annoying.

Maybe instead of calling out the fans, call out the people who make you believe every year, they are the ones youre mad at.

Absolutes like this are for losers.

This team cant beat "anyone" because they refuse to see it the way we do.

This is probably the 10th time under Schotty and prior coaches that they come out looking like they expect the other team to roll over and not play.

I think you are vastly understating how embarrassing this loss is.

Lost to a team that was 0-4, on the road, missing its starting QB and their QB was a UDFA starting his first road game.
They were literally just a yard away from beating Baltimore.

When they don't shoot themselves in the foot the offense is good enough to beat anyone.

No, you can call people out without stooping to their childish level. That can be done. I think you just don’t like me pointing it out.

And yes, it is also ‘turning the other cheek’, but not in the way that you seem to think it is.

The original cultural context of that expression was that in the ancient Greco-Roman world, hitting someone on the right cheek with the back of one’s hand was an insult and a show of dominance and superiority.

Turning your other cheek towards them forced them to treat you as an equal (who you would hit on the left with an open hand). So when Jesus says that in Matt. 5:39, he’s advocating not a passive Holy Joe attitude, but something that faces up to an enemy/oppressor with dignity. [Can you tell I am coincidentally preaching on this text this Sunday? Love when stuff like this happens!]

So there’s nothing passive or victim-y about turning the other cheek.

Likewise, calling someone out in a deliberately dignified and non-insulting way can and should be done.

But I do totally understand the frustration with people who insult others just for being realistic.

Isn't true???? Oh I've gotta hear this........
It isn't true to say that there's "no hope."

I don't know why Cowboys fans are allergic to contextualizing the team to the rest of the league.
