News: ESPN: Cowboys' Prescott irked by stadium worker's callout after loss

My wife said the same, I told her, if their livelihood depends on it, he should keep his mouth shut. He's an employee, know your place. I've fired people for less than that. Fire him!! Right after they fire Schotty and Parker.
What? Did you fire someone for giving you the side-eye? The man said one word.

If you’ve fired people for less than that you’ve got some growing up to do. These are people who have bad days and rely on their paycheck to feed their families. Get a grip on your emotions and learn how to be a better boss.

If you’re even speaking the truth. Who knows on the internet.

Maybe he can do another documentary on the 90’s Cowboys to make himself feel like he’s done anything other than hire Jimmy and then screw up one of the greatest sports teams of all time.
And what had Jimmy done away from Jerry?

The same as it always is with him. As soon as a defense brings pressure and causes him to have to think on his feet, he crumbles. It’s been the same for 11 years
He is so easy to rush he can’t spin left or step up

He is willing to take a hit or two but he’s only human and he was backfooting things

I think the short week made them not appreciate the finer details of the job

It felt like they tried to make it a 7 on 7

It's kind of standard practice for any kind of celebrity-type event. Some bands we opened for were very cool and accommodating to the enthusiastic cast and crew. Others were jerks (looking at you "LIVE"!) It also applies to actors, poltiticians, etc.
Oh I'm sure...........at the end, inside access is huge. No contractor or vendor wanna lose his/her contract coz an employee couldn't control his/her emotions. Not saying they are bad employees by any means, but as you said, celebrities/entertainers come in all sorts of flavors.

I saw a clip where Dak threw his helmet just slightly behind the guy, but it bounced off of his hands

There is no way in hell I would have reacted like Prescott did. He came across as a soft, arrogant d-bag with his hard stare as he kept walking away.

Best choice, completely ignore the comment. If you must address it then stop, face the guy and respond with some words.

Then he talks to security about the guy? Did I hear that right? What a furry little kitty cat, so to speak.
Yeah he did go overboard, but not many would just keep walking without at least trying to see who was saying it. It's not like it was on the field. It was in a restricted area..that's my point....sorry I wasn't clear about that

On the other hand...Dak should have handled it better too. I suppose he's not who we think he is?

Probably should have been more clear, I was a bit fired up 3 hours ago.....anytime a new HC takes over a .program, he has to get rid of people to bring in his people.....so, yes, there's a lot of people walking on egg shells

I feel sorry for any HC that has to deal with a GM like NGM

100%.......as mentioned earlier. We are not even talking about this if he had brushed it off and moved on coz nothing the guy said was a lie.

I don't mind the worker speaking his mind.... I just loss respect for him for waiting until Dak and the other players passed by him to say something from waaaayyyyy over there.

Why didn't he move in closer to the rope barrier when Dak was walking towards his direction so Dak and the other players can see who's talking?

Reminds of some folks here. Type all kinds of crazy stuff about Cowboys players or posters here from waaaaaayyyyy over there, but would never keep the same energy in person while a person is facing you.

Yeah this worker is apparently real soft. I would have respected him if he walked where the players can actually see him saying what he had to say, a lil closer to the rope barrier.

NGM??? Lol I can imagine.
I was very lucky to have worked for 3 superintendents that allowed me 100% authority. I wasn't easy reassigning people, 29 in about a month at one job, but the entire program was crap. O wins in volleyball, boys and girls basketball combined. Brought in new staff and all three of those teams make the playoffs 2 years later. Coaching matters....respect for your boss matters, it's hard to respect Jerry. That's why good coaches won't work for him. They know they can't bite their tongue....

We should promote the contractor vs firing him. Screw Dak's ego and feelings... we need more candor in this organization.

Wonder what Jimmy would have done if a stadium worker told him that during his 1-15 season?
