News: ESPN: Cowboys' Prescott irked by stadium worker's callout after loss

Yeah, just like that time in Florida at the concert.... oh yeah, nevermind.
Lol...yeah, stupid drink kid on spring break....who knew people would still be talking about that 12 years later. Comes with the territory

As Dak Prescott walked down a long hallway to the locker room after the Dallas Cowboys' 24-16 loss to the previously winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he heard someone yell, "Embarrassing."

It was a third-party contractor positioned just outside the players' exit from the AT&T Stadium field.

"When he said it, I just happened to look at him, and at that point, he looked away," Prescott said. "And when I turned my head back, he said something else. And so that's the part that, just as a man or as just a person, feel free to speak your mind -- just speak it. Don't cower away from the reaction that you're going to get.
Shut up Dak
Enough faux outrage
You have been stealing 60 million a year
Get better at your job

I love how disconnected rich athletes are from reality.

Prescott does not even factor in that the guy's livelihood was likely on the line by sharing his fan-based emotional comments and the guy likely had family at home depending on the money he was making so it wasn't about cowardness, but the fan's reality that speaking his mind might hurt him and his family.
Haven't even begun to dig into this 9-page odyssey but honestly why would Dak even need to factor the guy's livelihood in? If this guy has family at home and is risking their livelihood, that's on him. Maybe don't take stupid risks like that over a game of that's even a danger. We all have to control our passions to some degree so we aren't penalized (including here) and this guy's no different. So to me the story, if accurate, is about the guy being a coward and not just letting it all out to Dak's face. Same as people here saying things they wouldn't dare say to an athlete's face.

Now the overall crux of this story is that Dak should have kept his trap shut about this. He's QB of the Dallas Cowboys so you get tons of glory and tons of crap just the same and should know to expect it. He's already had a few not great moments of dumb quotes following losses so just give the bland spiel and move on.

Stadium worker speaks for us all. Dak your 60m a year ha s deafen your ears

What? Did you fire someone for giving you the side-eye? The man said one word.

If you’ve fired people for less than that you’ve got some growing up to do. These are people who have bad days and rely on their paycheck to feed their families. Get a grip on your emotions and learn how to be a better boss.

If you’re even speaking the truth. Who knows on the internet.
Rich entitled people cant handle the truth so they want to get rid if it
Face the truth and improve if you are a man
Of course if you are Jerry or Schotty or Dak you run and fire the guy

Since we are “wondering”, I wonder what Jimmy would have done with a QB who hadnt won back to back playoff games after starting for 10+ years

I bet you dont want to know that
He'd of cut him, like most of us. Me included. Some idiots around here think this is about Dak, to me, it has nothing to do with dak. But, some don't want to see that.

Bigger than needs to be. I'd been alright if the guy made sure he said the same to Fergie, Revels, Bland, DL, Schotty, Parker, etc. Comical to me.

I saw the video...and LOVED it! Dak played like crap and deserved to be called out. Watching him get security after the guy who said it was weak. Dak should have just owned it and acknowledged the guy was right. Like most of the night, just something else that was pathetic.
Dak loves to HIDE BEHIND A FASCADE OF SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS TO COVER HIS LOW-BROW ACTIONS.

In Dak's mind: Someone couldn't stand on business.

In Reality: He was tender because it was THE TRUTH.

It's about the people running the show like an Ed Wood movie.

I don't feel bad that Dak takes more of the blame than he should. He set himself up as the face of the team. If you want to be the man, you gotta take the bitter pill along with the nectar.

Dak would have gotten himself thrown out of the building.
