News: ESPN: Cowboys' Prescott irked by stadium worker's callout after loss

Yeah, just like that time in Florida at the concert.... oh yeah, nevermind.

He got jumped at that Florida concert. The same thing would have happened to you in the same situation, involving multiple dudes jumping you.

Why didn't any of those guys fight him one on one? Don't tell me you endorse cowards jumping people, do you?

Not sure if this was posted in this thread. Tough guy looking for a fight?

Having seen all the videos now, this makes Dak look worse. He clearly tried to downplay it at the press conference (which I thought he just offered up on his own versus being questioned about it) because after thinking about it he knows it was over the line from him and could be perceived pretty badly. But as I said before, he's had multiple episodes of dumb quotes following big losses. So he is what he is.

My overall stance hasn't changed though. Any comments about this employee "needing to feed their family" is nonsense. Don't take risks that could jeopardize your job if others depend on you. But if you're gonna, do it well and not hide after you get looked at and then mutter "he heard me" after Dak turns his back again. Honestly, they're both punks in their own right. I think the guy will keep his job though because of the bad PR the Cowboys would receive. So he's lucky it was caught on tape versus just having his firing "taken care of" without anyone knowing. Worst case he gets reassigned and doesn't do Cowboys games anymore. Was it worth it?

So let me get this straight, a small blue collar guy working for a contractor with probably no safety net let his mind speak for a second while not being insulting or anything, and our super star among the highest payed QBs in the league franchise QB and wannabe close to be MVP just couldnt take it like a man? Even though it was fully justified?

And THAT's our leader?

This guy is a joke. I saw him as a choker on the field but as a decent human being. So whenever our homers are bringing the "true leadership" crap up, I will remind them of this truly embarressing scene.

That guy calling him an embarrassment has now just cost us the season. The choker will be running that through his head forever now. I bet he goes and buys him some new expensive lady purses now. Who said money can't buy happiness? "I'll choke, and you guys will still love me for it"

I'm just shocked, honestly. We play 2 teams with a combined record of 0 and 8 and we should have lost to both. A lot of capital was spent, and draft picks to build this team into what it is. You have to wonder if it's going to get better, or is this it? Are we ever going to have good coaches, good players, and a good front office again? I don't think this team was to motivated last night and that's a problem in itself. It's very difficult to be a fan.

Dak sucked, but he had lots of company.

This has been my only consistent criticism of Dak. He stays at what I call "team temperature". If the offense is humming along, so is he. But when everyone else bogs down, he's right down there with them.

Cowboys' Prescott irked by stadium worker's callout after loss

As Dak Prescott walked down a long hallway to the locker room after the Dallas Cowboys' 24-16 loss to the previously winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he heard someone yell, "Embarrassing."

It was a third-party contractor positioned just outside the players' exit from the AT&T Stadium field.

"When he said it, I just happened to look at him, and at that point, he looked away," Prescott said. "And when I turned my head back, he said something else. And so that's the part that, just as a man or as just a person, feel free to speak your mind -- just speak it. Don't cower away from the reaction that you're going to get.
It was embarrassing

dak sucked,,, but,,,,,,,,,,,,but................

but

but

I guess we should blame the center who hikes the ball to the choker.
What Dak simps don’t understand is I’m not denying he can’t have a good game or two. He can! That’s not enough however to win us superbowls. He has one good game then looks lost the next game. Everytime we make the playoffs the lights are too bright for the chud. He’s too inconsistent!!!!!

We just don't have enough good guys to carry him. I wish we had a good backup. we could put him in against good teams; once we get really far ahead, we can put dak back in for the wins.

Then we can start some awesome MVP threads for super star dak.

dak was lucky he kept walking; that guy would have made him remember Panama again.

"Get to stepping embarrassment"

Haven't even begun to dig into this 9-page odyssey but honestly why would Dak even need to factor the guy's livelihood in? If this guy has family at home and is risking their livelihood, that's on him. Maybe don't take stupid risks like that over a game of that's even a danger. We all have to control our passions to some degree so we aren't penalized (including here) and this guy's no different. So to me the story, if accurate, is about the guy being a coward and not just letting it all out to Dak's face. Same as people here saying things they wouldn't dare say to an athlete's face.

Now the overall crux of this story is that Dak should have kept his trap shut about this. He's QB of the Dallas Cowboys so you get tons of glory and tons of crap just the same and should know to expect it. He's already had a few not great moments of dumb quotes following losses so just give the bland spiel and move on.
And he literally doesn't get a lot of crap because no one can say anything. This guy just told him the truth, and it shows how disconnected he is from reality. He's supposed to be the humble guy, the guy who lost his mom, and blah blah, but he's a tattletale because he can't accept the truth. He's mediocre at best without inflated stats. He's slow, throws ducks, and can't watch the clock burning timeouts. Getting a guy fired over stating facts just shows he's a loser.
