News: ESPN: Cowboys' Prescott irked by stadium worker's callout after loss

He should do something about it... Like not be embarrassing

Same guy who made the well known tweet after a dud game from Romo, but would not have had the guts to say that type of stuff to his face, can't handle the heat.

Bottom line--we are all fully aware of the divide in feelings about our QB, but:

Can we all at least agree that when you are paid $60 million a year to play QB for the Dallas Cowboys and you are this unnerved by getting heckled by a guy working in the tunnel, it's a bad look?

this type of thin skinned reaction from Dak (and we've seen it before--"jump off the bandwagon", "real fans" etc) says a lot about the man under the helmet. And what it says, ain't good.

So let me get this straight, a small blue collar guy working for a contractor with probably no safety net let his mind speak for a second while not being insulting or anything, and our super star among the highest payed QBs in the league franchise QB and wannabe close to be MVP just couldnt take it like a man? Even though it was fully justified?

And THAT's our leader?

This guy is a joke. I saw him as a choker on the field but as a decent human being. So whenever our homers are bringing the "true leadership" crap up, I will remind them of this truly embarressing scene.

Bingo.
the "leadership cred" attributed to Dak has always been, is, and will continue to be vastly overstated.

He got jumped at that Florida concert. The same thing would have happened to you in the same situation, involving multiple dudes jumping you.

Why didn't any of those guys fight him one on one? Don't tell me you endorse cowards jumping people, do you?
Definitely not. Just didn't realize he was jumped vs instigating it. My fault.

Blaming contractor after loss. He’s a great leader! Jerry the meany head contractor said it was embarrassing, do something! Lol

We all know the defense is bad but what’s Prescotts excuse? Prescott had a lot of 3 and outs!
This honestly just goes to show the parity of the league. A 100 QB rating isn’t amazing anymore. It’s so geared towards offense. The Cowboys defense is not good. But, a 85-90 QB rating is bad now. In Aikman’s and even Romo’s days 85-90 would be top 7. Now it’s top 25

Not a good look Dak.

Total weaksause. This is why we lose and continue to lose. Our players, and I guess whole organization, care about the wrong things and have the emotional maturity of a 13 year old. Dak can’t handle a fan’s reaction to a bad game. Weak, mentally weak. That’s disappointing.

This is just as bad as Diggs confronting the reporter for his tweet. Just mentally weak. Easily rattled. I agree it’s not a good look.

Players, and NFL teams, should keep in mind the league embraces and promotes wagering on NFL games and individual player performance. Revenue derived from partnerships with gambling entities represents all revenue (AR). The players get a portion of AR.

Not saying this guy that blurted out the comment had money on the game. But players and teams have to be aware and accept tensions can run higher amongst fans, in general, in the contemporary NFL. It’s not only disappointed fans of a particular team angry enough to show their disdain.

Cowboys' Prescott irked by stadium worker's callout after loss

As Dak Prescott walked down a long hallway to the locker room after the Dallas Cowboys' 24-16 loss to the previously winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he heard someone yell, "Embarrassing."

It was a third-party contractor positioned just outside the players' exit from the AT&T Stadium field.

"When he said it, I just happened to look at him, and at that point, he looked away," Prescott said. "And when I turned my head back, he said something else. And so that's the part that, just as a man or as just a person, feel free to speak your mind -- just speak it. Don't cower away from the reaction that you're going to get.
Dak wasnt going to do anything. What was he going to do, throw an interception to the 3rd party contractor!

He's revealing the character flaws that are the main reason he wilts when the moment is too big.

I saw the video...and LOVED it! Dak played like crap and deserved to be called out. Watching him get security after the guy who said it was weak. Dak should have just owned it and acknowledged the guy was right. Like most of the night, just something else that was pathetic.
I didn't know he got security involved. What a douchebag. Instead of owning it he probably got the guy fired.

You should hear what i yell at the defense from the couch

I love how disconnected rich athletes are from reality.

Prescott does not even factor in that the guy's livelihood was likely on the line by sharing his fan-based emotional comments and the guy likely had family at home depending on the money he was making so it wasn't about cowardness, but the fan's reality that speaking his mind might hurt him and his family.
He's a pos, as I've always said. Maybe he can give out some turkeys to this guy's family when they are living in their car after dak gets him fired. pos

That guy calling him an embarrassment has now just cost us the season. The choker will be running that through his head forever now. I bet he goes and buys him some new expensive lady purses now. Who said money can't buy happiness? "I'll choke, and you guys will still love me for it"
I believe you’re right, I think he’s always been soft mentally and here we go
